I can see his right arm at his side. Probably holding her left leg. It looks to me as if she jumped up held on for dear life while someone snapped the pic. That's why so much laughter. What a great memory. Love it

In my country there's graduation from kindergarden, first grade, 6th grade, 8th or 9th depending if it's public or private school and then Senior year. It's a nightmare! Had to pay a $170 fee for a first grade graduation plus a custom dress! Boys had to wear tuxedos. And it was in a hotel! So unnecessary!

Not really. I think it's fine this way. The child him looks like a toddler with that size, which is probably how the boy could have felt on his last day of school when looking back to his past. Young people tend to exaggerate, because they're very emotional. I find this picture more "artistic" just the way it is. ♥

Every year on her first day of school they will take a picture of her holding a picture of herself on her previous first days of school. So according to the picture she's probably going into second grade this year and is holding a picture showing her Kindergarten and first grade first days. Just my guess...

I took it as it's her first day of first grade and she's holding a picture of herself of the last day of kindergarten and in that picture she's holding a picture of her first day of kindergarten.
