No? He says his daughter is 3 years old, and he lost his wife 2.5 years ago. That means his daughter would have been born around 6 months before his wife's passing. So, timeline-wise, his late wife would definitely be the biological mother of his daughter.

You were twenty, how could you possibly know what to do when something completely out of the blue and horrible like that happens? This is one of the reasons why predators like younger women. I won't tell you how to feel because emotions will emote, but no sane person would blame you for not doing something about it in the moment.
