5. Select the truth: Ketchup was once sold as medicine Sugar doesn't decay teeth Pineapples grow on trees And this is when I quit. Sugar doesn't decay teeth. Bacteria growing in your mouth ćrap in your mouth and that ćrap decays your teeth. They prefer sticky food, or bready, starchy food, that sticks around for a while. Pure sugar just melts away and is gone too fast. I'm going to downvote this whole mess.
I stopped at #5 but it was bc of the pineapple/potato snafu. I seriously hope ppl don't read BP and think they're getting accurate information. I guess we're lucky that we know what's c**p and what's not!
Load More Replies...BP, whilst it's correct that neither grows on trees, please be aware that pineapples and potatoes are very different things...
Apparently someone checks things. Some of the complaints here aren't in the quiz I took, e.g. no mention of potatoes in #5.
I wonder if anyone at BP reads the comments on any kind of regular basis to see how much this page BADLY needs an editor. Or a different editor...
Maybe they're too busy trying to deal with the increasing number of "There has been a critical error on this website."?
Load More Replies...I gave up at question 5. Sugar, as I was taught long ago, really doesn't harm teeth. It's the acid produced by the bacteria which feed on sugar (etc) that harms teeth. I like a good fun quiz, but this is a bad fun quiz.
"the actual largest desert overall is Antarctica due to its dryness". I was not aware that "dryness" determined how large something was.
I gave up at 5: Pineapples grow on trees followed by Potatoes only grow underground. Well, they're both sort of oblong and kind of hard and edible...but that's about where the similarities end. 🤦🏻♀️
