I am suffering from a degenerative neuromuscular disease. I am slowly on my way to being bed bound and on a feeding tube (I don't plan to get to that point). My wife is my carer and it's hard. I try to have her go out and do things for herself. She wants me to go out too, but it's very difficult and becomes an exhausting chore for both of us. If she were to find someone now (I did tell her I hope to pass sooner than later so she has healthy years to share with someone), I wouldn't be mad. I am not the husband she signed up for or deserves and if it happened, I know it is the situation and not me... people who aren't in this situation really shouldn't judge.
