The only advantages to digital books are 1) backlight for reading and 2) the ability to tap a word for definition, translation, or Google references. I've been known to tap many a page in a paper book like a goof.

I am not talking about ‘someone else’. I am talking about my children, in whom, to this day, I have complete trust. Banks need two means for certain operations; one means I have, which is a card with numerical coordinates, and the other means is a mobile phone number, which is the one my children have. For medical services, the mobile phone is only used for confirmation of medical appointments. On the other hand, yes, we may be a bit selfish to leave ‘a little’ obligation on our children, but can't that be a way for them to compensate for all that we have done for them so far? I'm 66 and my wife is 58. When the mobile boom started we were young enough to use them, but we decided we would not. And a lot of people envy us for it and tell us that they wish they were able to do the same.

Believe it or not, neither my wife nor I have a mobile phone, nor have we ever had one. Although for some things it is almost compulsory (bank accounts, some medical care...), in these cases we give them the mobile phone numbers of some of our children.
