Hey Pandas, What Do You Look For When Looking For A Wife?
Mainly how comfortable I am around them. I'm still a teen, but when I can just be myself and completely stupid around someone, and they react positively or with their own stupidness, it makes me so happy.Hey Pandas, If You Could Buy One Thing No Matter The Cost, What Would It Be?
I'd buy a politician or some to pass a bill forcing insurance companies to pay for therapy and autism/ADHD/anxiety/etc screenings. It's insane that they're not covered. Therapy is preventive care, as it keeps your mental state from suffering, and those screenings are such a lifesaver. But, most people can't pay 3K to figure out they're autistic, and you can't get meds for ADHD without a diagnosis (both meds and the diagnosis are expensive), and it's all so f****d.Hey Pandas, What Do You Look For When Looking For A Wife?

I'm Gen Z, and both my generation and Gen Alpha are both way too obsessed with tech. I know I am, and I'm trying to disconnect some, but most of us don't even know how to spend time without a device. Also, my 8th grade English teacher spent every Friday the whole year re-teaching us how to use proper grammar and not texting grammar, so COVID messed up the reading comprehension/writing skills of a lot of us. I'm lucky enough to have escaped that, since I work well alone and have parents who could help me with stuff, but Gen Alpha seems to not. The only Gen Alpha kids who are remotely normal that I know are my cousins, and that's only because my aunt is SUPER strict about screen time and things like that with them.

I don't see my dad's parents that much anymore, and I don't go over to their house overnight or without a parent in the room. I thought this was just how things were, but apparently when I was little their dog attacked me since it was jealous I was sitting next to my oma. My dad was going to confront them about it and tell them they needed to do something to prevent another instance or I wouldn't be allowed to sleep over again. Sadly, my oma had a bad fall a few weeks later (due to the dogs tripping her up on the stairs) and had a traumatic brain injury, so my dad never brought it up. She doesn't remember it happening, and keeps asking to see me more. I love her dearly, but it's super uncomfortable watching her and my mother interact, since my mom is annoyed with her, my opa, and my dad for being so Southern-ly passive-agressive and not fixing the problem.
