You are wrong. As a Christian I realized I screwed up my life beyond repair and my only chance to fix it to call an expert hence Jesus. I AM a bad one. To be fair to OP, I went through much the same. I don't preach and tell people how awful I had it, but it does sometimes anger me when youngsters show zero respect or appreciation for anything and just complain about how hard their lives are.

I can't speak for other countries, but in much of the US it's definitely better than it was. The Clean Air Act, bringing in emissions standards, getting rid of leaded fuel all did wonders for the air quality.
