Totally agree with you here. However, many historians believe that with the introduction of germs from Europeans, many indigenous people were wiped out as a result. It's why so many settlements were found abandoned as settlers headed West. They believe 90% or more Natives were wiped out as a result. This is not to downplay the genocide and other atrocities committed by Europeans and then Americans.

my brother got "a little" financial help with his car from my parents and they decided it would be unfair to only help only one brother out (because I dont have and dont need a car for my job) so they gifted me the same amount money they put in his car for christmas (a few thousands o euros) They did the same a few years earlier when they learned that I chose a full-paid dual study so they dont have to support me while at university.
