We had our young cat 'fixed" and she just slept and rested all day after coming back from the vet's. My 11 yr old son asked very concerned, after watching the cat lying around all day , " do you think she is sad because she can't have babies?" ( awww... so sweet). My 7 yr old son asked, "so, if she doesn't recover, would we get a cash settlement?".

Not me and not met, but a close friend was working on an animal welfare documentary in the UK years ago and wrote to David Attenborough's management asking if he would be involved. She received a many page long handwritten letter from David where he politely declined because he had too many other projects at the time, and then told her all about the family of hedgehogs living in his garden.

I'm not a long haul trucker, but I drove a moving truck across Nebraska. Theres a point where you're going freeway speed, but the scenery doesnt change. It's a very strange sensation and it seemed to last far too long. I started to f***k out at one point because I had the thought that I've ALWAYS been driving through Nebaska and I always will be. Everything else that has happened in my life must have been a hallucination, as theres nothing but Nebraska in the horizon. Nebraska is the truth. Nebraska is life.
