When Someone Called This Teen Fat, Her Boyfriend Had The Best Reaction
Meet Tre Booker and Madison – a completely adorable couple that just recently attended their school prom. Just like most high school couples, before heading to the dance they stopped to snap a few pictures, which Madison later shared on Twitter. But then she received an unpleasant comment…
“Wow he loves you even tho you’re fat,” Twitter user @BeSafeThough commented. Madison retweeted the comment and responded with a simple message: “Don’t see how people can be rude to people they don’t even know.” Madison’s tweet has gone viral since with tons of people supporting her and her boyfriend. Though the best response came from the boyfriend himself… Check it out below!

But then she received an unpleasant comment
Madison responded with a wistful message, clearly saddened by the fact that she was fat-shamed by a stranger
And then her boyfriend stepped in and said the sweetest thing

And Madison for looking absolutely stunning

Can't believe some of the comments here going: "Well she's fat tbh." You are seriously missing the point. Would you have said the same thing if the girl had tweeted instead: "Wow he loves you even though you're ugly." - because that was basically the shade she was trying to throw.
My thoughts, exactly. Also, give her a break, some people are big until they grow up. I lost so much weight after high school that people could literally hardly recognise me.
Load More Replies...That girl who said such a mean thing to her is just a sad, miserable b***h. What is the point in trying to bring this obviously happy girl down? There is no point. Anyone who thinks that someone else doesn't deserve to be happy has serious mental issues and needs psychiatric help. Good on him for standing up for who he loves. Life is too short to let the snakes get under your skin. Be yourself, be proud, and be happy.
Perfectly said Jen, I agree with you and I'm sure most of the rest of us do too don't waste your time on those idiots who hate on them, they are the ones with the problem, not this sweet young couple :)
Load More Replies...I think she looks blissfully happy & has a boyfriend that she should cherish. It's cruel to focus on less than perfect bodies. Plus, those that do, are shallow , &, not worth knowing.
They just want to maintain their skinny privilege, don't listen to word they say.
Load More Replies...If you're an adult and your first reaction is to say something like "well she is fat." I'd encourage you to try to grow up and bit and actually act better than a childish teenager. Just a thought.
There are skinny people who can be just as unhealthy as someone who is larger. Perfectly healthy people get sick or fail in health all the time. It shouldn't matter what her size it she was trying to enjoy her prom night with someone who truly cares for her. Just bc she posted it on social media doesn't mean trolls like that need to put their 2 cents in, but then again she posted it online and everyone is susceptible to criticism. You cant make everyone happy but you really have to hate yourself to leave comments like that to someone you don't even know.
Load More Replies...Well first of all the comment from that girl was stupid cos everybody deserves to be loved no matter fat or skinny etc. it's nice that the bf stood up for her but it doesn't change the fact that she is fat. She's got a beautiful face and all but saying she's not fat is stupid. I am fat and I'm not expecting my husband to say I'm not. It's the fact
The fat was used as an insult not a description in that tweet. It was used hatefully to make some sad person feel better about their lives because a woman they thought lesser than them had a rocking dress, a loving boyfriend and was going to a Prom. It was used in a nasty hurtful way not a statement of "fact". Just because something is true doesn't mean it's OK to say it.
Load More Replies...It's disgusting that society had molded the minds of the weak to think that fat is conflicted with a woman being beautiful....your parents would be ashamed if they knew you were bullying others because of the way they look.....you have nothing better to do with your time than to hurt others in the process of your uninteresting life? I'm a big girl...always have been....but I'm absolutely stunning as well....if you get on the internet just to throw negative comments....you might need to talk to a therapist...that usually means you're dealing with inner issues....as for the couple mentioned in this article.....they rock! She's absolutely gorgeous and he sounds like quite the catch.....as for the immature girl who displayed the negative comment.....women shouldn't be shamed by other women.....we should be building each other up.....spread love not hate. ❤
Clearly, the insulting poster has self image problems. When a person feels she is inferior in some ways, to make herself feel better she may feel the need to tear others down. Somehow, she thinks it makes her superior to the one she tore down. (Obviously, it does not.)
Load More Replies...This is no surprise. That's the internet - there will always be someone who doesn't like the way you look. With people who post private things, come the haters who'll comment on it. Also: Standing up for your girlfriend shouldn't be a "thing"/unusual.
Wow, only a few hours later and already over 150 comments. Everybody is still taking about her weight; positively and negatively. This girl is a total stranger, her body is none of our business.
Load More Replies...If you're reading this Madison, your dress is gorgeous! I'm jealous :)
Yup, she's fat.... (Me too). But she's also gorgeous. You can be both.... Spend some time learning to love yourself instead of throwing shade at people you don't know, and you might find someone who loves you like that!
