I'm on the same page as you, but I don't even think I made it through 10 of them. I have no idea the type of people these couples are together, but this would not fly in my house. I do my best to take on more of the load, because my wife works at a bank and deals with annoying/angry customers all day. I might work an hour or two more than her, but mentally I can handle it.

My older sister is my parents' biological daughter (I'm adopted) and she ALWAYS got everything the second she wanted/asked for it, and I'd be told "we can't afford it" (which I later learned wasn't true) if I asked for a similar thing. Favoritism should not be displayed, and it's not limited to only the younger/youngest kid being the favorite.

I love my children, and I don't regret having them. What I do regret is that I had them so early that I didn't have time to prepare myself for everything else (financially, experiences, etc.)

Can I add one? I'm tired of always having to be the one to do something. My wife once asked me why I was doing X or that I didn't have to do Y, and my response was "I do it because it has to be done. Not that I want to." I let my wife and kids rest when they're tired or sick, but as the man of the house it's seen as weak or lazy if I want to take a break for a day. If I'm sick, I'm still expected by everyone (family and work included) to "man up" and get the same things done. I need a break or I'm going to lose it... (Edit: The only downtime I get is lulls at work, which let me get on BP and when I smoke, but even that is frowned upon)

I was working on his PC one day and looking at his certificates and things on the wall while I waited. I saw one and asked what it meant. It was about satellite telemetry. Dude was a rocket scientist and went into radiology. I asked why, and his answer was: “I get paid better.”

When my wife and I got together, she had three kids from a previous marriage. I took a third shift job so I could work, get home to make breakfast, get the kids to school, clean, sleep, get them from school, do homework, make dinner, then go to work... I notice that in these "men suck" posts, none of the usual suspects are saying "Well, it's not just men..." like they do in the ones about things women do. I'll take the downvotes, but I find it quite annoying.

I had to do a lot of stuff with/for our kids. My wife was disabled and couldn't do everything, but still did a lot. NOBODY treated me like I was special or anything. Obviously I got some kudos for dealing with my wife's disability, and people helped out, but it wasn't anything anyone made a fuss of at all. Yes, we had it difficult, but nobody praised us for it. I think in England and Australia people don't behave like this. At least I have never come across it. We do what we do as dads.

I get what you mean. My wife is often spent in the evenings before I get home because she tends to spend more time taking care of our daughter. I'm also wiped from work, but we still have stuff to take care of, and if someone is obviously more exhausted than the other, they get to relax a bit. Recently we've been accidentally falling asleep without finishing what we're supposed to take care of, so I've taken to waking up between 00:00 and 01:00, and finishing up - wash the dishes that didn't get done or hang up the laundry that is still in the machine, etc. She also gets up a little earlier to do that stuff sometimes, but I struggle with that in the mornings, and I don't want it to fall on her too much.

Ok, I got like 18 items down the list before I gave up on the repetitiveness of the complaints. I feel sorry for the women who end up with men like that. As a husband and father, I am very far from perfect, but I have spent my married life avoid the problems listed here, to varying degrees of success. In the end, we try to always remember we are in a partnership. We both have jobs, so it's up to us to divide our responsibilities as best we can according to our strengths and schedules.
