Why? Why would she try to enter Miss Universe? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But Miss Universe, while selling itself as 'defining what it means to be Confidently Beautiful ', only has conventional beauty at it's core. One glance at previous contestants shows not a blemish between them. It's a measure of perceived conventional beauty, not actual beauty. It's a contest that further contributes to our unrealistic and unhealthy expectations of supposed 'beauty'. "Let's hope she wins!" Screw that, lets hope the show ceases to exist. (Although I'm very happy she has embraced her moles).
