That's hilarious. Taylor swift did not give a rats a*s what some trashy woman said- a woman who's literal claim to fame is getting with over 1000 men in a very short time. She is not worried in the least that this trashy woman has any chance of stealing her fiance.

I love seeing how someone 60+ looked when they were in late teens/early 20s, just fascinates me. The couple and generational pictures make me a little sad though because I know I'll never have that. If I meet someone in the next few years, *maybe* I could eek out a 30 year photo before we die! Maybe one day Ill be able to meet up with the few highschool friends I have pictures with and be able to recreate some 30+ photos. Now that I think about it, I do have vague future plans to see an old friend with whom I know I have a picture with from my 15th birthday. So it's not so bleak as I thought 🥴

So I was wondering if there was something tasty out there I was missing, since I have a massive sweet tooth, so I looked into this. At the risk of sounding completely stupid, I've learned that this is probably a joke picture since there is nothing directly edible in these sugar pinecones! These giant pinecones are female (male cones are smaller), and come from the sugar pine in the western US and Mexico. The seeds are edible (but I don't think are easily accessed by tongue ). A lot of pinecones are actually edible whole still young, small, and green. Sounds like a recipe for a stomach ache to the uninitiated. One can even make pinecone syrup by combining such pinecone with sugar and storing, which might be interesting for Xmas holidays with the smell. Thats all I got, and I plan to learn nothing more today.

H E LL yes, $100 is absolutely worth engaging in (I don't believe OP "picked" the argument) an argument over for me. That much money doesn't go as far as it used to, for sure, but my salary has not kept up with the value of that $100. Over 80% of the world's population live off less than $30 (US) per day. I seriously doubt that is due to choice "Oh I just like to live frugally!", with a few minor exceptions possibly. Edited typo.

I second that. I've always used hydrogen peroxide for blood stains. I'm a vet, have cats, AND and female, so lots of experience with blood. Hydrogen peroxide does not damage regular clothes (I do not wear anything fancy or super expensive dry clean only fabrics).

I've been seeing that kids are being given the power to tell everyone when to eat. "I'm hungry!" is a demand no one is allowed to deny. Growing up, I knew dinner was around 6. If I got hungry I had a small snack or just, you know, waited? Somehow I didn't die. Kids are not taught to accommodate groups and families. There's a reason for the level of entitlement these days. Teen Cracks Under Pressure As Controlling Dad Enforces Insane Routine, Mom Refuses To Step In

A word of warning to absurdly strict parents (not that any of those would be reading this, nor open to introspection enough to take advantage of this advice). I had a neighborhood friend who was treated like this. A lot of it came from religion in this case. This girl was a pretty good kid, at least in our pre teens. She wasn't straight A, but she certainly wasn't in danger of failing anything. Some people simply are not academically inclined, especially if the extra study time required for someone less 'gifted' is taken up by chores (lots of chores I remember), babysitting younger siblings, and bible study/church events. We were noncommercial friends by mid teens because I was a 'bad influence' and I got tired of getting dragged to church with her family, but like many of those sheltered and isolated kids, she rebelled ASAP. I heard through the grapevine she was pregnant at 17. I guess she managed to sneak just enough freedom for that.

Just to be devils advocate- pls keep in mind I am a single & human-child-free vet, and have 5 indoor cats that are my life. A couple ESH/YTA comments made me think. If I screwed up and cost my employer a bunch of money (I absolutely have, early in my career I made a $5k+ mistake), I'd still get paid. I might get fired after that (I was not, employer was very kind and saw how I was beating myself up over it) or not rehired if it was a gig job, but I'd still get paid. Is this situation different? I truly don't know what I would do if I was the cat owner in this situation, and I'd be so upset I might not even be able to speak, so am not saying ESH or YTA by any means. Just that those couple comments made me think.

Technically that isn't the white of the eye (sclera), it's an extension of the conjunctiva (bulbar conjunctiva). Conjunctiva loves to swell up. Usually it's very thin and transparent on the sclera so you don't really notice it is even there until it swells.

Um, yes that combo can yield a B+ baby, and anyone who works in that area of a hospital knows that. It's not super common, but hundreds of babies like that are born every year in the US alone. It can be a form of chimerism (once thought rare, now believed to be between 6-10% of the population), where one parent absorbed a fetal twin in Utero and carries DNA elements of that absorbed twin. The Blood type can pass down on that way. In the days before DNA tests or before they were affordable, blood tests is how it was done, though some places they tested the grandparents too, so see if it was possible for chimerism. However with DNA tests today, its easier. I am one of these rare people. I have a blood type that should not be possible based on my parents, however DNA (our whole family did those kits) show I am their child.
