Coworker Turns In A Photo Of A Teacher's TikTok Video To Administration, Gets Her Fired

A little digging into this helped it make more sense. First, she was already in trouble over posting tik toks about a coworker she alleges was present at her nieces injury….but that’s not the worst part. What’s worse is she then was reprimanded for being repeatedly late to work, which she blamed on being a single parent as well as ADHD, and for which she sought medical accommodations (which is a serious thing that people with disabilities need). So not only did she ask her employer for grace in getting to work late, she utilized accommodations for people with disabilities as well…THEN publicly states she’s basically scamming both her employer and disability law…for all the world to see. Seems like this termination was more than fair and was her own fault. Can only hope she grows up enough to realize that and change her ways.

You are the a*****e to even agree to sign the paper. He is definitely bigger a*****e, manipulative, and immature. Not a single man would make this prank or ask anything before wedding. Having children is harder on the environment, but we have to accept that solutions to the climate crisis have to be within the realm of humanity's capacity. Committing species suicide isn't a rational solution, it's up there with genocidal thinking as a solution to a perceived problem. In this case it IS a solution, but it's pretty sad and defeatist. Things that are more in keeping with positive goals might be redistribution of wealth, carbon neutral home heating and cooling, carbon neutral mining, electrification of transportation and industry, carbon neutral electrical generation, carbon and greenhouse gas neutral food supply (as in lab grown protein). If our solution to climate change is all people stop having children we might as well drink the kool-aid and be done with it.

There is a lot of areas of indoctrination in American schools, from what I noticed. A relative and her family moved to the USA for about a year then moved back to Canada. This is what stuck out to me about their experience and I'll compare it to Canadian education: In the USA, little cousin was corrected in a lot of the Canadian terms we use that the USA doesn't use, such as saying "Grade 3" instead of "The 3rd Grade" and how we pronounce "roof". In Canada, either (USA/Canadian) grammar and terminology is accepted. Speaking to some Americans in my life, I have noticed this first hand, if I saying anything that isn't in their preferred way they may just refuse to understand what you're saying. Not all but some, depending on the region. I correlate the prior to the latter as possibly being relative.

I'm a nurse and I worked at a hospital when COVID first started. There are a lot of messed-up things that never made the news. I remember this one night so vividly. We were running short on ventilators. I was on the COVID unit and there was one doctor that would walk around every single room, see how the patients were doing, and if they were older over the age of 70 or more, they would contact their family members and say, "Hey, do you want your family member to be a DNR or DNI? Because we don't have ventilators." The other thing I talk a lot about is how they threatened healthcare workers that if they wear masks, they would be written up because they didn't want to scare the patients. All N95s were locked up and you could only have them if you were doing airalising procedures, which is exactly why I think the CDC refused to acknowledge that it was airborne because of the mass shortage. And I know you can say the CDC didn't see this coming, but it was their job to see this coming. This entire organization, this whole country failed us as healthcare workers and I will never stop talking about it.
