“Please Change Your Stylist”: The Best-Dressed And The Total Fashion Disasters At The 2025 Emmys
After the red carpet was dusted off and rolled out for the 2025 Emmys, stars arrived in glittering gowns and sharp suits for television’s biggest night.
But there were also plenty of boundary-pushing fashion choices made at the 77th annual awards ceremony, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, September 14.
Sydney Sweeney brought a touch of Old Hollywood glam to the red carpet, while Jenna Ortega’s outfit reminded people of their grandma’s chandelier.
One actress admitted she couldn’t breathe in her dress, while another said her name was embroidered on the inside of her gown.
Here are the best, worst, and wildest outfits from the 2025 Emmys red carpet.

LISA
Lisa enjoyed her first trip to the Emmys on Sunday after making her acting debut in The White Lotus.
Fans said the K-pop star was “giving modern Disney princess energy” with her tulle pink gown and Christian Louboutin heels.
“She looks like a Disney princess,” one said, while another wrote, “She's never boring on a red carpet i love it always serves 10s across with her outfits, makeup and hair.”
“Damn, whoever is dressing her.. deserves a raise and all expenses paid vacation,” one said.
Others said her outfit looked like “Cotton candy.”
“She looks like candy floss,” read one comment.
So many of these women stars go all out with their gowns but just let their hair hang there. I've seen some that didn't even look like they combed their hair, much less styled.
The top part of the skirt all bunched up looks stupid. I like the rest of it and the color.
If she'd swirled it around her right leg it would've looked more elegant.
Okay, but that's just "nit picking" Absolutely gorgeous 🩷🩷🩷🌸🌸🌸

Brittany Snow admitted on the red carpet that she couldn’t breathe in her glittering light pink Wiederhoeft gown.
“I am strapped into this thing like within an inch of my life,” she told ET. “I can’t breathe. There’s a corset. I did have duct tape around me at one point, but it was making my skin go into a rash. So we took off the duct tape.”
One netizen said the dress “looked less boring on the runway somehow.”
Others claimed she was giving “uncanny valley” vibes, referring to the unsettling feeling one gets when something looks almost human but isn’t.
“Her face is giving me a little uncanny valley, but she looks great otherwise,” one said, to which another replied, “I can’t tell if it’s that or she’s just super uncomfortable.”
“Take me to your leader! Brittany, are you in there??” another commented.
But others called her outfit “one of the best looks of the carpet.”
“My fav dress of the night,” another said.
The dress is very nice, but it's hard to call any dress a win when you know the wearer can't breathe in it.
Good - The color, style, and fabric are flattering. Bad - She's strapped into it! Can't breathe! The look itself - Classic. The fabric flows well. Elegant.
Beautiful dress. I'll bet it absolutely flows when she moves. My only critiques would be that the bodice should have been designed/arranged so that it had a bit more shape and would hold the drape a bit better. And she should have had sparklies. Lots and lots of sparklies would have made this dress have a more formal look. The right necklace would have accentuated her long neck and shoulders.
Angela Bassett
Black knickers probably werent the best option to pick, otherwise this'd look much more elegant
OK. Needs something around her neck and a different clutch bag. What's with the hospital wrist band?
I assume the afterparty she is attending requires the guests to wear the wrist band.
Load More Replies...Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez created one of the evening’s most buzzing entries, wearing a scarlet halter-neck gown by Louis Vuitton.
Her fiancé, music producer Benny Blanco, planted a kiss on her cheek as they posed together on the red carpet.
The Only Murders in the Building actress was crowned the “best dressed of the night” by one fan online.
“Oh my goodness she looks like an angel,” another said.
“Can't wait to see her as a bride, she is stunning! the dress is impeccable!” read another comment.
But others felt her stylists could have done more to add some oomph to her look.
“There are other colors besides red black white ... All I see selena in the same colours…” one said.
Another wrote, “She's beautiful, but I wanted to know why her team doesn't try harder? Like, it's the biggest award show on TV and she went with that hair up, kind of weak, even for her.”
The collar of that dress is too large for her neck and face. Not a bad dress, but the collar isn't flattering. The dress is such a saturated red that it would take a strong personality to carry it off.
Agree. If she had a 'bigger hairstyle' (I know what I mean...) I think it'd be more flattering. It makes her face looks small.
Load More Replies...It's the perfect shade of red on her but the dress itself is a little underwhelming.
It looks to me like an homage to Audrey Hepburn. And for what it's worth, I'm not a fan of Selena, but I am a fan of Hepburn.
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Meh. Lose the asymmetrical b**b top. You look Ike you are trying too hard to be sext. Makes you look old
I'm hoping it's just the way she's standing, because otherwise that dress would be absolutely perfect on her. Love the glitter and the smile. The sparklies are understated, but they suit her and they punch up the dress. She looks like the camera caught her with her eyes closed, and she has caterpillar eyelashes.
Load More Replies...Mariska Hargitay
Mariska Hargitay channeled Old Hollywood glam with a red velvet strapless gown by Elie Saab.
Some fans felt the Law & Order: SVU star’s ensemble evoked the style of her mother, Hollywood bombshell Jayne Mansfield.
Many called Mariska’s look “gorgeous” and called her the “Best dressed!”
“Love that she doesn’t get plastic surgery. Gorgeous,” one said, while another wrote, “Her mom would be proud.”
“She is a natural beauty. She is glamorous like her Mom,” read another comment.
But another said, “Sorry nothing like her mother.”
“Was never really a fan of hers but it is so refreshing to see this woman age gracefully and not touch her face like the rest of Hollywood,” read another comment.
Love the color and the cut except for the bodice doesn't flatter her chest and collar bones. Might have been helped by a lovely necklace. Why don't they wear sparklies anymore? A necklace flatters a the neck and shoulders, and the right bracelets look elegant. I say this a woman who doesn't even wear her wedding ring 90 percent of the time
No "extras" needed. Her earings & rings were the perfect touch.🤍🌺
Load More Replies...a velour WHAT? And how dare women age beyond 30 and actually have a "textured face" (aka wrinkles, you can say it you know)!
Load More Replies...Gwendoline Christie
Gwendoline Christie ditched gowns and chose to suit up for the Emmys 2025.
The actress was dressed in a Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford design. Some thought the made-to-measure pink sequin double-breasted suit was “too basic.”
“She's gorgeous but that suit is making her head look TINY,” read another comment.
On the other hand, fans called her “the queen” and said, “Only she could pull this off Amazing!”
Underwhelming. Needed something to wow it up. Hair, makeup, accessories. Something to take it from board room to awards event.
She looks like she came dressed as Ericka Van Helsing from Hotel Transylvania
Hunter Schafer
No to the red for her, and that dress just doesn't fit her shape. Hate the fabric, and what's with the different fabric around her hips that looks like a different color? I guess modesty maybe, which I appreciate, even if it's not very appealing. Why do so many of these women look like they could use at least 25 pounds more to be healthy?
Yeah, that different bit of fabric made me side-eye as well. I love the style (maybe not so much the neckline) and the colour of the dress is beautiful, though I'm not 100% it works on her as well as other colours could. Still think she looks very pretty, though.
Load More Replies...That shade of red isn't working on her. It's clashing with her hair and the tones of her complexion.
Pedro Pascal
The heart emojis came gushing online after Pedro Pascal stunned in an all-white outfit.
The Materialists actor was dressed in Céline from head to toe, wearing a sharp double-breasted ivory suit and a white cotton poplin shirt.
His sunglasses and white sneakers were also designed by the French label, but Pedro’s relaxed, lovable charm was all him.
“Pedro looks stunning in that all white ensemble,” one fan said, while another wrote, “Pedro just being effortlessly cool.”
“I’ve fallen in love again,” one said.
“He is beautiful,” commented another.
One fan said Pedro posing for the cameras was their “favorite moment on the carpet!”
He looks great, as always. But the jacket looks odd, it doesn't blend.
That's the suit...the cut is doing that to him.
Load More Replies...Cristin Milioti
Cristin Milioti wore a custom Danielle Frankel gown that featured a sculptural neckline and a dramatic train that followed her on the red carpet.
When asked to tell a secret about her outfit, the actress told ET: “It has my name embroidered on the inside, and it’s like [an] armor.”
The actress, who won the award for Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series or Movie on Sunday for her role of Sofia Falcone from The Penguin, said she could imagine her character wearing the same dress.
“Love her gown!!” one netizen commented on Cristin’s outfit.
“Congratulations, she looks perfect,” another said.
Jenna Ortega
Jenna Ortega continued riding the skin-baring trend, wearing a top that reminded people of Christmas ornaments and chandeliers.
The Wednesday star wore a black skirt with a daring thigh-high slit, but her outfit’s centerpiece was a Givenchy top designed by Sarah Burton.
The jewelled top arrived in a box that was shaped like a coffin, style journalist Zanna Roberts Rassi said.
“It is made of extra-large jewels and not much else,” including some “very precariously taped tape,” Zanna said during Live From E!: 2025 Emmys.
The same jewel top was worn by Anne Hathaway earlier this year for a Vogue magazine spread.
“This is awful,” one netizen said about Jenna’s Emmys 2025 look, while another quipped, “She looks like a chandelier or a table lamp.”
“Hobby Lobby has Christmas ornaments that look like this right now!!!” read one comment.
Another asked, “Did she run out of time and had to choose between putting on eyebrows or throwing on a chandelier to come out on stage?”
“I feel like drawing on her eyebrows lol,” commented another.
“She's wearing my grandma's chandelier,” one said.
Her outfit also had one fan asking, “Is it me or does everyone look really anxious & awkward walking the red carpet this year.”
Where's the option for "Oh no, girl! What were you thinking?" I choose that one.
remember in the movie Death Becomes Her and the lady who gave them the potion to keep them young and beautiful? thats what this reminds me off her outfit in the movie!
Kathy Bates
Kathy Bates has had years of experience on the red carpet, and it showed at the Emmys 2025.
But while she effortlessly posed for the cameras, her dress wasn’t enough to impress some netizens.
With two Emmy awards and 15 nominations to her name, Kathy wore a dark floor-length Vera Wang gown and accessorized with some jewelry from Rahaminov Diamonds.
The actress has been struck with massive speculation related to Ozempic use after she debuted her weight loss transformation at the 2024 Emmys.
“People say, ‘Well, it was the Ozempic.’ F*** you, it was the Ozempic! It took me years to do this,” she told Variety last week.
She said she set out on her weight loss journey after being diagnosed with diabetes, which she said her mother and father lost their lives to.
“When they said ’diabetes,’ I figured out what to do to slowly, over years, to lose the weight,” she told the outlet. “And then when Ozempic came along, I was able to lose the last 15 to 20 pounds and keep it off.”
While Kathy looked comfortable in her skin, some netizens were left yawning with her Emmys 2025 outfit on the red carpet.
“What a bland color for a beautiful lady,” one said, while another wrote, “Love her. Love the dress. Hate the color.”
“What’s with her hair? It looks so severe,” one said.
“She looks like she might break your ankles with a sledge hammer,” another quipped.
Her hair is gorgeous. The dress design is fine but the color is terrible. Maybe in person or under different light it looked better.
I think it's the right choice for her. She's clearly considered her age and body type when selecting this dress. It's works for her.
Right? Sh*t brown at that. There are many other colours out there
Load More Replies...A more vibrant colour would have been beneficial for her look.
I like the dress, but that shade of brown isn't flattering on anyone. Except the poop emoji
Megan Henderson
My first thought was that she looks like an interpretation of a xmas tree.
Load More Replies...Actually, I kind of like it the more I look at it. Could have gotten away from red and green for the glitter bits, but I love the fabric and the way it drapes, especially on the skirt. Just the right amount of jewelry, her hair is nice, and her lipstick flatters her and isn't a horrible garish color
Zuri Hall
Thanks, I hate it. It would be so much more flattering without those two duffel bags attached at the hips.
Colman Domingo
Fans cheered on as Colman Domingo looked dapper in a powder-blue Valentino suit with crystal embroidery.
The Four Seasons actor chose a fringe scarf, Boucheron jewelry and an Omega watch to complete his look.
One said it was “probably [his] best red carpet fit” so far.
“Love his style,” one said, while another said, “He always brings it.”
“I have never seen anyone look so stunning in clothes. He is so beautiful,” read another comment.
Did they just attach a job lot of earrings to his jacket?
Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown with a strapless, cleavage-baring neckline for television's biggest night.
Many praised the Old Hollywood vibe it brought to the red carpet, calling it “such a beautiful dress.”
“Old Hollywood glamour! Love it!!! Beautiful,” read one comment.
Another said it was a “10 out of 10.”
But many couldn’t look past the recent controversy surrounding Sydney after her viral American Eagle ad campaign.
“I'm so over her,” one said, while another asked, “Who let them put Sydney Sweeney on my screen?”
“Nobody to throw a tomato at that Sydney Sweeney,” said another.
Nevertheless, fans asserted, “Sydney Sweeney sizzled on the 2025 Emmys carpet in a red gown.”
It is far too small in the chest area, which is unfortunate as it takes away from the dress.
Beautiful gown--color, cut, fabric all lovely, just a bit too small in the boobage area,
Load More Replies...The hype is she’s the young face of MAGA. That she’s wearing solid red was a total given.
Load More Replies...OK- If I was on Fashion Police I would advise Sydney Sweeney to not pull a Sofia Vergara. We are always seeing her in some variation of the same gown, long hair down, b***s everywhere. The dress is beautiful, she's beautiful, but its a bit too small in the chest and in ten years if she's still doing this look its going to be really tired. If I was her I would be trying some different looks at this point. I feel like these stars get stylists that are really ridged with looks and image they curate and"what works." Sydney Sweeney isnt a 45 year-old thrice divorce who is desperate to stay relevant. Switch it up!🥰
Same as Elizabeth Hurley. Low cut, thigh slit and exact same haircut since for a few years now
Load More Replies...Bad tailoring. If this had been pulled up just 2 inches it would have been a slam dunk. It just looks like she is trying too hard to look s**y - including being awkwardly uncomfortable to show more cleavage.
For too many women they think their entire appeal is in the double Ds on their chest and must show them to be called attractive. To be fair to them, society has kind of reinforced that notion. Low-self esteem is sad
Load More Replies...It looks to small on her. An up do would've also been more appropriate but that's on the stylist team not the dress.
Nikki Boyer
Exactly. It seems like she’s already on the short size, so why squish her down farther with that short torso?
Load More Replies...Rose Abdoo
A big statement necklace would've turned this up from retro to glam
Agreed. Without it, the dress almost looks like a muu-muu she put on for a barbecue in the back yard, but it would have punched it up to formal with the right neck piece. The bracelets and all but the one ring that she's wearing don't have enough impact, either.
Load More Replies...Was it her or her stylist that mugged that granny at the ashram and stole her Mumu?
Scarlett Johansson
“Wrong dress,” a fan declared after Scarlett Johansson waltzed onto the red carpet with her husband Colin Jost.
The Jurassic Birth Rebirth actress, 40, was dressed in a textured strapless gown. But not too many people were a fan of the butter-yellow shade.
Her comedian husband, meanwhile, wore a classic tux and bow tie.
“They look like great wedding guests,” one commenter joked, while another asked, “Why is the hair so fricking flat? Could have made a difference.”
“She is so obsessed with wearing this butter color and it doesn’t do anything for her,” one said.
“Why does he always look befuddled on red carpets,” asked another.
In red this would have been amazing, the yellow washes her right out.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Catherine Zeta-Jones kept the sheer-dressing trend alive as she returned to the Emmys after a four-year hiatus.
The Chicago actress went braless underneath her semi-sheer black Yara Shoemaker Couture gown from the designer's fall/winter 2025 collection.
“Catherine is so classy,” one commenter said, while another wrote, “Wow Catherine.”
“But damn Catherine Zeta Jones still got it tho,” one fan said.
Another wrote, “I never would have known that was Catherine-Zeta Jones, had they not announced her name. I guess I just did not recognize her.”
If you are going to corset, then corset! If it were tailored in her waist more, she'd be ok. As it is, she looks wide.
She's beautiful but that dress doesn't flatter her figure at all.
Sam Nivola
A magician looking for a bar mitzvah? Okay, cute actually, but it's going to collect those jokes.
Aimee Lou Wood
Aimee Lou Wood made her Emmys debut this year, celebrating her first Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in The White Lotus.
Her Alexander McQueen gown featured a strapless pale pink satin design with a train that dragged along with her on the red carpet.
A pair of baby pink heels and red nails completed her look.
“She looks gorgeous,” one fan commented.
Another wrote, “Gorgeous! I love her so much.”
“Pretty in pink,” another said.
the dress length seems off, needs to be longer or shorter, but cutting her off at the ankles is odd looking
Bad fit - when a bodice is part of the design, the breast needs to fit into the breast portion of the bodice. Here, the bottom of the bodice area for the breast is a good 1.5 inches below the actual flesh - you can see the curve of her cleavage and where the dress wrinkles up being empty. All they had to do was pull it up that 1.5 inches and tailor it there. It would also eliminate the tiny armpit fat rolls if the dress came up to the right area. This is a stunning woman with an adorable figure with a stylist who let her come out with a dress falling down.
That dress, (that wrinkles so easily) is doing her no favors. She is pretty, hair is great, earrings are great. But the dress is so wrong. Not just for her, for anyone.
Cut is fine but the color is washing her out. Also, has stylist forgotten how to do up-do's? Put up her hair. Elongate the silhouette and work with the dresses structured nature.
Why, oh why, cannot the designers get the b u s t to fit properly?? These appendages are not new to the female form.
Nischelle Turner
Where's the necklace? That neckline was made to be filled with a statement peice of jewelry.
That dress needs non-wrinkle fabric. The design is great, the color is beautiful, but the wrinkles spoil everything. An iron might also do the trick, Anyway, she is so lovely that the dress is unimportant!
Beautiful color and it suits her well, but she needed to have a final tailoring done to make it fit. Love the bling she's wearing, but it would add oomph to the outfit to have a stunning necklace. I'd prefer a little more height and fullness to her hair, but I can live with it. Cute toes.
Sarah Paulson
Sarah Paulson comfortably nestled on the red carpet in a voluminous outfit that was covered entirely in feathers.
The American Horror Story actress wore a Marc Jacobs off-the-shoulder gown and completed her look with a choker and black shoes.
“Is she nesting?” one commenter asked online, while another wrote, “Chicken Rooster.”
“I need wtv she’s on,” said another.
Feather work is hard. This looks like a costume. It's s mess.
It looks like she stole it from an ethnic section at a Natural History museum.
Owen Cooper
One of the youngest stars to pose on the red carpet had the biggest night at the 2025 Emmys.
Owen Cooper, 15, looked smart and dapper as he made history by being the youngest actor to win the Best Supporting Actor in the Limited Series category for his role as Jamie Miller in the Netflix show Adolescence.
“What a great start to his career for this guy, I'm so happy for him, I wish him the best,” one fan commented online.
Many agreed that his award was “well deserved.”
But one commented, “Deserved but please change your stylist.”
I feel like that's how teenagers look in formal clothing as a rule 😂
Load More Replies...I think it might be difficult to dress boys his age for this type of gig.
Chris Perfetti
I wouldn't say hideous, but it looks like he needs to learn to stay away from trawlers.
Load More Replies...Hate the shoes and the pants are too long. With the glasses, posture, and the attitude, he looks like he's waiting to park cars.
Michelle Williams
Literally any other color would have been smashing. You can't even see all the detailing work on this dress in white.
Looks like dust rags and old drapes put together for a last second wedding dress
Meghann Fahy
That neckline would be wrong for anybody. What an ugly cut.
Load More Replies...Jinx! My exact comment before I read yours. Great minds....
Load More Replies...I suspect some photoshopping to "clean things up." The dress is not for her.
Ick! That neckline. Didn't she look in the mirror and realize how unflattering it is? And the designer should be shot for not making sure the skirt slit didn't turn out the way it does. Poor fit and it doesn't hang right. Off topic, the poor prego lady that's working the event is so ready for the thing to be over so she can go home and put her feet up.
Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell walked the red carpet in a Giorgio Armani Privé backless gown embroidered with sequins and crystals all over its white silk tulle.
The Nobody Wants This star had some fun on the red carpet with her husband Dax Shepard, who wore a Giorgio Armani tuxedo to match Kristen’s elegant look.
Fans called them a “gorgeous couple” and said, “They are couple goals.”
“She is so pretty,” one said.
Another wrote, “Absolutely love both of them and how real they are.”
There is so much empty space between dress and head, it looks ---- off
Samantha Riley
I don't know who she is, but she seems very inexperienced in how to dress up for an event like this. Did she buy this off the peg? Perhaps she has not reached the paygrade to be able to afford couture, or is not on any fashion designer's list to exhibit their clothes for free. But she needs a stylist.
Agreed. That she probably doesn’t have stylist etc yet and I imagine she bought this from her own mkney, she looks lovely though , very pretty. You can tell she needs ‘ a team’, looks like she hasn’t been trained how to stand and pose, but who cares, she looks very pretty and let’s hope she enjoyed her night.
Load More Replies...She looks like she borrowed a dress from a friend last minute for a funeral.
¿Por qué lleva la marca del bikini y del reloj en el bronceado? ¿Nadie se lo advirtió?
She needs better posture. Ithink that would make the dress look better.
Did they give her someone else’s dress? The fit is terrible and does nothing for such a beautiful woman.
Parker Posey
Parker Posey made quite the entrance at the 2025 Emmy Awards, wearing a ruffled lavender lace Valentino gown that one netizen described as “lampshade couture.”
Her Sabyasachi jewelry deserves a special mention, as her necklace alone boasted a 45-carat pear-shaped emerald with 50 carats of aquamarine and diamonds.
Fans had mixed reactions to her appearance, with one saying, “You’re a darling.”
But another called her “the most overhyped actress in all of history.”
“The way I hated her acting on White Lotus pairs perfectly with my feeling about this look,” read one comment.
“Looks like a 70s nightgown inspo gone terribly wrong,” one said.
“It’s giving vintage prom vibes,” another wrote.
Another said, “Love Parker but this dress is truly ugly. Toilet paper cozy couture.”
“This is just terrible,” another simply said.
I want to look like a 40's actress getting ready for bed...that was the last thing she said to her stylist, I'm sure.
i'd pick a different material for the caplet but other than that it looks lovely
Lauren Graham
Lauren Graham had a red carpet reunion with her Gilmore Girls co-star Alexis Bledel.
Fans were ecstatic as the onscreen mother-daughter duo posed together. They also presented the award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series during the show.
Lauren was dressed in an Akris poppy evening gown next to Alexis, who opted for a strapless silver gown.
“Love Lauren’s dress!” one said, while another claimed, “Lauren has a different face.”
“Both so beautiful 25 yrs later!” one fan said.
“Wow they both look incredible!” another agred.
“Lauren looks younger than Alexis omg,” one said.
Forgot to comb it, and looks like the before pic with a major case of the frizzies and split ends. Again, one of the dated see-through dresses, although at least the bits and bobs are covered. That could be pretty fabric with the right underlay though.
Load More Replies...Lainey Wilson
Lainey Wilson said she was “feeling fancy” as she made her debut on the Emmys red carpet this year.
The country singer wore a cream high-neck chiffon halter top with flowy panels, paired with sheer trousers that were covered with crystals and metallic embroidery.
She topped off the outfit with a cowboy hat and jewelry from Sterling Forever.
Fans said she didn’t just look amazing, she looked “ahhhmazing.”
“Such a doll,” one fan said, while another called her “So beautiful!”
“Wow! Beautiful inside & out!” one commented.
THAT'S your problem with this outfit??? She is a country singer at a singing awards show.
Load More Replies...I think if it had a skirt that was made out of the pants material, it’d be decent.

It just needs something. A bigger contrasting belt to better define her waist. A necklace or earrings, something.
Anything! But I hate that waist and the shape of the skirt on her, and the hem's too short. Ugly shoes. Also lose the ugly Timex sports watch.(I'm sure it's more expensive than that, but still.)
Load More Replies...The waist and hem are disproportionate on her.

somewhere there is a pittbull that lost its collar. What fabric is this? where is the shirt?
Katherine Lanasa
Agreed. But don't you think that fabric is to die for? It could have been made into a fabulous gown, but instead, we got this. I do like the color of the ribbon though, and it's nice that the shoes and bracelet match. There, I said something nice.

Looks like a kid who was allowed to dress themselves for school.
Mark Indelicato
I like seeing anything other than a black tux for the guys! Let them have some fun with fashion too!
I agree, but there's something about the plaid plus the color then added to his mustache that gives off used car salesman vibes. Maybe it's the white shoes, too.

I honestly like the dress... It's that... Shawl? Boa? Whatever... that ruins the look.
Sharon Horgan
dress looks terrible on her, the hair is ugh, and her face says I wanna be in bed alone
Looks like she forgot to get completely dressed and ran out of the hose in just the underpinnings.
Timothy Simons
No short pants for a formal event... I like the colour of the suit.
The socks need to be bolder and higher. Lean further into the historical sporting and menswear reference. A sporran that would usually be worn with a kilt would've been a great accessory.
Megan Stalter
Come on... you dress up more for the mall than that! (Unless you're Simon Cowell.)

Load More Replies...I gave a lot of "almost theres" because if one element had changed -- neckline, color, etc. -- it could have been really nice.
Is there some kind of seamstress strike in L.A.? So many of these dresses and suits look like they were made by someone who has never sewn a garment or fitted a dress before.
