A Palestinian suicide bomber blew off my friend's legs and an arm thirty years ago. The people who talk about the Naqba don't understand the land was bought fairly from Palestinians, who left the country of their own free will. Those Palestinians that did not sell, are now Israeli citizens living on the land they did not sell. In 1948 the Palestinians were offered a two-state solution which they refused, and have refused the many other offers ever since. Gazans and Hamas have been dropping bombs on Israel for the last forty years, Eight thousand bombs were tossed at Israel since October 7th. Hamas charter states that Palestinians should kill every Jew they come across (as well as anyone else who is not Muslim). Israel handed over the Gaza Strip after the Arabs lost another war that they initiated.

But you have no problem finding compassion for people who kidnap, torture, murder, and publicly behead anyone they can get their hands on while in their rage? Wasn't a 2 year old AMERICAN one of the recently released kidnap victims (weeks after the attack, I'd like to add)? How do you think the family of that child feels to see fellow Americans posting that we should all have compassion for a group who commits such murderous atrocities, while ironically refusing to do the same to their enemies?

No receipts for beheadings nor rapes done by Hamas. This was fully and completely a mere propaganda. For some reason all of the west got moved and touched by these false news, while no one seemed to care when thousands of Palestinians were pushed outside of their country, made to live as refugees for their who life with minimal human rights and when the rest lived in an open prison in their own country with minimal resources and prospects for a future cs they cannot move anywhere, literally ANYWHERE. Add on that the daily fear of a new wave of random Israeli threats, bombing, humiliation, kidnapping and murdering. Keep one thing in your mind, the daily rights that you take for granted, like your right to travel, visit different places, own properties and study, are ones that Palestinians lack, while the Israelis are fully enjoying all those rights. What a world where the thief gets to enjoy the house and the homeowner has to stay locked in the basement!

Hamas posted their atrocities on Telegram as they were committing those monstrous crimes. To say they didn't do those monstrous acts is making you a propaganda arm of Hamas. Hamas also has droped thousands of bombs on Israel for the last thirty or so years. But yeah, Israel bad for not allowing Hamas to kill their citizens, when Hamas kills Palestinians all the time. And Gaza was never occupied - it is a self-governing entity where people can come and go with visas just like any other country. Family members travel from the US into and out of, Gaza all the time. Israel has blockaded Gaza because we're sick and tired of being attacked. Egypt and Jordan also blockades Gazans from entering their countries because they send bombers into those countries. Look up Black September. Why do you think no Arab country wants them?

The funny thing is that no one is seeing how a big part of what happened on October the 7th was simply a plan put by Israelis to justify the cleansing if Palestinians from Gaza especially northern Gaza where Israelis have logistical and financial interests.

It began when the land was broken up into 70% to Transjordania (renamed Jordan) and 30% to Israel. I wonder why the Palestinians don't wage war on Jordan for the 70% of their land that is Palestine? Wouldn't have anything to do with religion would it?

@Ixanga Cancun: you can easily look up maps over the last few decades and see that are numbers are simply not true. Palestine was 100% Palestine before 1948, then from 1949 to 1976, Palestine was made into Israel with about 20-30% of the country going to Jordan. Since 1967, Jordan doesn't own any land formerly known as Palestine, it's all Israel. The answer why Palestinians don't fight Jordan is because Jordan hasn't owned Palestinian land for nearly 60 years.

Are you not aware that prior to 1948 the land was inhabited by Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews? Yes, they were literally called Palestinian Jews before Israel came into being. And Arabs were offered the two state solution, which they refused, preferring to attack Israel from the inception. Jews are indigenous to the are since it was called Judea. Islam was not a religion until 500 years AFTER the Jewish religion came into being. Arabs, however, decided to eradicate Jews from the Middle East, giving them far less rights and simply exterminating them in Arab lands, which is why Jews decided they needed a safe homeland. So half a billion Arabs in all the surrounding Arab states have decided that ten million Jews should not be allowed to live on their own tiny little country.

With respect, the Palestinian people would not still be in Israel following the 6-day war in the 60s had Israel not showed compassion at the time and allowed it to continue, despite continuous bombardment of their people and cities, and threats of annihilation from literally EVERY neighboring country, which also just so happen to be majority Muslim nations. This would be like a bunch of liberal Americans moving over to China, calling themselves a nation with a new name, and then after 100 years of being treated like Americans in China, claiming that we have a right to Chinese land because we've been oppressed. Yes, we have, but largely by choice. Borders have never been intended to keep people IN your country. The reality of the situation is the Jewish people own the country, and will continue to defend militarily against an enemy that finds acts of terror like kidnapping and beheading infants an acceptable form of protest. Actually Gaza was given to the Palestinians, complete with huge greenhouses, businesses, free electricity and water supplied by Israel, and numerous businesses for which Israel forced out IT"S OWN PEOPLE to give to Palestinians. The actions of Hamas were disgusting, barbaric and unforgivable but they arose from sheer desperation in the open air prison of Gaza. The settlements in the West Bank are ruled illegal by the international community yet still the apartheid state of Israel encourages it's citizens to populate the area. As long as that continues a two-state solution is unworkable and further violence is bound to occur. Context is important.

Yes context is important. That is why I would urge you to study facts beyond demo flyers. what you say is simply untrue,l oversimplified and biased. Also, if Hamas was in charge none of these people would celebrate christmas. making political islam the one and only creed in the world is in their charta. violence and killing especially of women and anyone they thin is "deviant" highly praised and encouraged. the palestinian people and hamas are not the same. but hamas makes everyone suffer. just yesterday on the news- a palestinian complaining that hamas is witholding food delivieries. onyl uses them for their fighters, letting the cilvilians starve. its time hamas is stopped.

Exactly, I don't condone what Hamas do, but I understand the reasoning, and I understand why palestinians would support the organization that does appear to be the only people willing to fight for them. As obviously, since Israel has pretty much cut palestine off from the outside world, they aren't seeing the millions protesting for their cause

Gaza was never an open-air prison. They needed visas to get in and out like any other self-governing state. Palestinians could work in Israel. They could emigrate to Israel, with full rights. Do you know how many Arabs live in Israel? Gaza has villages and farmlands around, pus the sea for fishing if they had wished to build a decent society. Instead they keep their children uneducated and brainwash them into killing Jews. Hence why Israel blockaded them. Try reading history on the area instead of believing Facebook propaganda.

Read history of the area: the land was never 'stolen'. Jews are indigenous to the area since it was called Judea. As were Arabs. The propaganda of IDF killing babies is ridiculous, and if you could read any Arab newspaper you would see what they say about Jews, we apparently drink their babies blood for breakfast among other things. This is literally said in the major Arab newspapers everywhere. Jews offered to share Israel in a two state solution, Arabs refused and chose to attack many times, The so-called Naqba was land legally bought from many Palestinains who chose to sell: those that didn't sell are still landowners with full rights in Israel. As are many other Arabs living there peacefully. There are even Arabs and Druze in the IDF.
