Imagine if we talked like this about other illnesses. "Cancer? Oh, you smoked or ate the wrong thing". Making it a "fact of life" that overweight just comes from 'not being disciplined enough' was THE great gift to every bully and twat who wants to feel better by putting others down instead of doing something good themselves. And doctors know better, the data is there, but they either don't speak out or just say "overweight is a strain on health costs", yeah, so were aspiratory illnesses before we cleaned up the air. I dare everyone who tells others "just to eat less" to themselves "just to talk less to others about their weight". But nobody tells bullies to have some self-discipline. Because, it seems, society needs scapegoats.

This would make me very Happy. And less Sneezy. Pollen makes me Grumpy. I'd tell my Doc to adjust my allergy medicine, and not be Bashful about it.

There's nothing wrong with this one. I think I would have painted the legs or put stockings on them so there wasn't so much contrast with the top, but that's just me.

Not necessarily. While I wouldn't sulk in the basement, I also would not stay in the room for that show, or top model, or idol, or really any show where people are competing for judges. Just not my cup of tea. He is definitely being childish, but homophobic is a stretch.

It's illegal to park in fire lane. I'd have called the police and had them towed every time. I also call BS on parking the used truck. If it's no longer an official vehicle it's not allowed to park there either. I can buy a used police car, but that doesn't mean I can use the emergency vehicle only turn arounds on the freeway.

This is why I refuse to live in a place in which I cannot commute in my own private car. One of my vehicles is fully electric and my backup vehicle is a hybrid. So it's super cheap and not terrible for the environment too. I love the idea of public transport, I just wish people governed themselves better in public.
