This reminds me of s creepy thing that happened to me as a teen. My friends and I drove up to the bluffs that overlook town and was a popular hangout for teens at night. After a big bonfire, we were leaving and across was an old church with a manse attached to it. I pulled into the parking lot to turn around, and immediately a light went on in the manse and it looked like a silhouette dancing in the window but looking at us. Freaking out (we were s****d - no i dont support driving s****d but I was young and dumb and this was 20 years ago) I tried to reverse out as quick as possible when the light in the window went out, and at that same instant my car stalled in the driveway. Mind you this was a brand new vehicle with automatic transmission, so stalling was just something that didnt happen before, and never happened after. It freaked me out, never drove s****d again and never went back there.

My boss made a "joke" about me hanging myself if I didnt deliver good results on something. He then "joked" again about it in front of his boss. The third time he "joked" about it he even handed me a rope. He finally got a week long suspension. Point is, obviously a joke or not doesn't make it acceptable, especially at work.

Do the maths. Three families can do taxi duty, one can’t due to a full time commitment. That leaves six parents. They go clubbing every two weeks. So the actual involvement runs to roughly 4 trips per year. C’mon now, that’s not exactly giving up your life is it? Each daughter should simply discuss it with their parents and get organised. OR Accept that taxis are part of the expense of a night out and suck it up.
