"Cats love me. I've had cats come running out of side streets and houses just to say hello and get some scritches. Outdoor cats who have never interacted with me before let me pick them up, and if my partner wasn't allergic I would have adopted an army of strays who just followed me home by now. And it's actually not completely useless - I work as a cat sitter."

Some Black people here provide nicknames on their name tags if in service-type jobs, because a lot of white people can't pronounce their names. To be fair, the indigenous languages contain sounds that don't exist in English, but if you give it your best try, the person will appreciate it.

Unpopular opinion but nurses. There is a lot, A LOT, of toxic abusive high-school girl drama type behavior among nurses. It's such an important job and about half the people doing it shouldn't be responsible for a yogurt, let alone a human being's life. I've seen some s**t, man.
