So, there is a difference between victims of sex trafficking, survivors of sex trafficking and sex workers. The difference between victims and sex workers is multilayered but to simply put, sex workers control the conditions of their commercial enaggement with their clients and have goven fully informed consent to engage in sex with the client. Victims, on the other hand, had no informed choice in getting into commercial sex and are conrolled by a chain of trafficking agents that include middlemen, traffickers, agents, clients and pimps. I know about the work of Guria and they dont force sex workers to assume the identity of victims as might be assumed.

This is hardly true and perhaps ill informed. As in any ofher country, some mainstream media houses fail to adequately address the voice of the poor and the marginalised communities. However, you also need to learn about the high and increasing number of independent media and journalists who are tirelessly becoming the voice of the oppressed communities. Interestingly, thats the reason you know about the monorities and ethnicities you are talking about.

I was a nurse for 35 years. I would come home exhausted day after day. I would often hurt my back, ankle, neck etc. I would take ibuprofen and get on with it. I loved my job,BTW. When I was young, I would think that what would do when I got old. Would I be using a walker to get up and down these halls? I was joking of course. I am 67 now and I am not laughing. When I was 61, I was working full time as an RN. I was diagnosed with cancer. I had to quit, went to bed and had to retire. I am not in bed anymore. I am cured of cancer but my injury ridden body kind of fell apart. Chemotherapy and Radiation are horrible to the body. I have been told due to all of the injuries that I have had, I have a body of someone in their late 80's. Debbie It's been 5 years since my last treatment and I have to cut this short

I could feel it was very difficult for them to deal with two of us as they had physically demanding jobs. Both used to be cranky and annoyed quite often. I love them for being human in tehir emotions and do not find it a bit crippling for myself that my parents were not the best 'parents'. They did what they could and did not what they could not. Its alright.
