They are not replacing the librarians... I'm sure they still have a library, but with libraries, you have to return the book. This promotes good behavior to earn tokens for a book they get to keep forever.

Here are some differences, yes they can go to a library and take a book of a shelf, check it out, but guess what... they have to return it. These kids look like Elementary level, that earn tokens, I'm sure with good behavior, and they get to get a book to keep forever, to them the machine is like a prize box. Any kid at that age, who gets to put tokens in something and get a prize out gets happy about it. And it promotes whatever behaviors are required to earn the tokens. And instead of toys or candy the prices get to be books.

I think you missed my main point. You stated she should have to prefer doing it alone, not always true, and it would be hard on the child also not true. The decision is hers and her mans. But as I told her, make sure your life is in order. There is nothing wrong with having a child at a young age as long as you have the means to do so and understand the "sacrifices" of young adult hood. And I know there is more than partying in your 20's I was just using it as an example.

I know a closer example, medication. How many people do you know that is allergic to a med? They get a bad reaction does that mean you're not going to take it? Some people can't tolerate some medications does that mean you're not going to take them? Unfortunately the anti-vaccine argument has no logic to it.

If you or your child needs surgery to save your life or something like simple like a medicine for a headache are you saying no? Those have risks too. Everything a doctor does has a risk, the question is, "Does the benefit outweigh the risk?" and when it comes back it doesn't, they pull it from the public, which they have done in the past with vaccines.

@Meowtown Age has nothing to do with it. I've seen 16 year olds that took care of their baby better than most women in their mid thirties. I've also seen women that waited well after they were 18 whose worlds fell apart when the baby finally arrived because they were so ingrained in their daily routines, they didn't know how to handle the unpredictability of a child. And then there were those women that waited too long to find out that when they wanted kids, they weren't able to have their own child and so they faced the long struggle of trying to adopt or use a fertility clinic to have kids. Yes I think women should be financially stable before having kids..but age has nothing to do with that...intelligence and maturity does.
