Wish i read this before i married a sociopath. The "perfect man" does all these things. Once married, and they will rush you into it, you're screwed. I should've listened to my gut. Or his family's observations. His brothers commented several times by saying, "wow, I've never seen him so happy before" but with puzzlement on their faces. Or "He never ALLOWED anyone to take his picture before" these are all signs the family knows this guy has been trouble. All women should see the movie Frozen (I'm not kidding) remember the younger sister asking to get married the same day? And throughout the movie you want her not to fall for Hans? Only to go back to the one she really wants? He closes the door & reveals himself to be a monster. I cannot tell you how much that movie was my life. Never ever fall for the "perfect man" ask around, his friends & family. Look to their reactions to him. More often than not, he won't have many or any friends.

As a one time mountain child I would also add, if you are walking in mountains or high hills with cliff drops and mist comes down, look quickly for the nearest rock or bush and huddle under or close to it. Failing that, just stay put. Walking in mist , you walk off the edge of drops and die when you can't see what's in front of you.
