Haha yes! I thought I will be amazing at parenting having like 20+ nieces and nephews around all the time.. now I have 2 and wonder if I will ever know what I'm doing:/

People Reveal When The Scales Dropped From Their Eyes And They Realized How Toxic Their Jobs Were (30 Stories)

Worked at a post office.. had a long day heavy mail and package day.. told the supervisor I'm going to need help.. she said, you don't need help you're a professional. I ended up working till 10pm.. last one in.. she easily could've send me help to deliver the mail faster but did that out of spite. Now they can't work past 8pm. Also once I was in terrible pain.. was bent over excruciating pain.. called in sick.. I was a sub.. told me they didn't have anyone to cover me so I.. stupidly went to work when I should've head to the er.. I worked super slow.. sweating just raising my hands up .. ended up going out on the street deliver half the route when they sent 2 people to take the rest of my stuff.. went home.. later went to hospital found out i had a bad appendix!

Lol.. I was 5 years old a Russian immigrant coming to America on a big plane.. crazy shy.. was seated between two sweet ladies .. different row and column from my mom.. I was in tears.. hands to my face. Wouldn't look up, wouldn't eat.. one of the ladies went to the bathroom and I booked it to go find mom.. lol eventually I think someone ended up swapping seats so I can stay either my mom hahah I guess that was nice of them but yeah I remember that separation anxiety. Oh and on my way back from my husband and mine honeymoon we got seated in different spots.. was so sad.. but a bigger couple booked isle seats so they won't be squished by the window seats.. also refused to move as rhey specifically got the seats for comfort lol we were both on same row with that couple between us.. haha I was sad obviously not what I wanted to be traveling like with my husband.. I think that guy felt bad for me though as he tried to talk to me to get me distracted and not bored lol

Um ... maybe before you divorce him get a marriage counselor immediately... talk to him about what he tells his mother about your sex life cuz thats just a boundary crossed.. you do not ever talk to others about your sex life with your partner if the partner a) doesn't know you're sharing about it.. and b) your partner wants to keep your sex life private. He needs to understand that he broke your trust and personal boundary if he's been telling his MOM about it! And 2 he needs to apologize to you and make ammends... life changes. 3. Do you have access to his phone or does he get defensive if you look through his phone? There should be no phone privacy within a healthy marriage. 4. Your husband needs to put you and your needs before his mother because you're the no1 woman in his life the moment he married u. 5. Stop avoiding your husband by running away.. and deal with your issues like an adult. Running away isn't helpful unless there's physical or mental abuse. There's no perfect marr

My god posts like this drive me crazy. READ THE ASSIGNMENT. I wonder if these people failed all their tests in school as well. To clarify, the assignment was "What Is The Worst Parenting Trend To Date". Not "name things that bug you about kids". Examples above like "boys will be boys" is NOT a current "trend", it is an age-old mindset, if anything the trend is to STOP putting up with that philosophy. And "kids have no manners these days"?? Really? There are quotes from Socrates saying that close to 2,500 years ago, and every generation since then has complained about "kids these days". Antivaxxers? Yeah, that's a new trend. Helicopter parents? Yeah that's a new trend. But most of these are BS

Parenting is hard. Really hard. I have been so incredibly fortunate to be able to be a mom (I have one son), but I know I've made lots of mistakes, and I'm still learning. I think if you're open to learning, love them, keep them safe, support them throughout the ups and downs, teach them to be kind and honest...well that goes a long way. I don't know why I'm blathering on here...I need more coffee.

My takeaway…. If you have kids, you’re doing it wrong. Sincerely, the internet. Trust me most parents worry enough that we are or have messed up our kids. Parenting is a LOT of trial and error as well as hoping you got the balancing act down enough that your kids will be ok adults.

They probably send you "care packages" because you're grounded to your home and can't get out even to buy food.. why are you all fantasizing about a socialist dictatorial state who keeps the whole nation like prisoners who aren't allowed to leave the country Blackie they don't want the truth to come out about this "lovely country"? Exactly. She said that he was there laughing and smearing the paint. He clearly did it on purpose. When I was 9, I couldn't even think about destroying something for fun. I was not raised like that. She should bear the consequences of the non-upbringing of her son. She's turning him into a small psychopath.
