My Father in Law recently passed - cancer and alzheimers. The last lucid conversation I had with him was about my dog. I have always called him 'Bella's Grandad' to which he would reply 'I am not the dog's Grandad'. On his death bed I chatted to him and mentioned Bella, but then 'you're not her Grandad are you?'. A very firm 'No I am not'. They were the last words he spoke to me and died 3 days later.

I had a couple of Jehovah Witnesses who were super persistent at coming to my door over and over again, even though I tried nicely to tell them I wasn’t interested. Last visit, my kitty managed to slink past my legs to the front porch to check out the visitors directly. One of the ladies visibly recoiled, saying, “Oh! A black cat!” Strangely, they never came back to my door after that. I’d call THAT lucky!

At cat cafe, two kittens lay in my lap. It lasted maybe a minute before they argued and fought. But I filmed it and that's what's important.
