You're known as the movie expert among your friends, who rely on you for recommendations and opinions on the latest releases. You have an encyclopedic knowledge of classic movie scenes and talented actors and actresses and can tell which movie was made by which director based on just a couple of movie lines. And you know what? It's those unforgettable movie dialogues, those perfectly delivered moments of cinematic brilliance, that make all those hours spent watching movies so worthwhile!

You know that feeling when a movie line hits you like a ton of bricks? Yeah, that's what we're talking about. Maybe it made you laugh so hard that you snorted soda out of your nose, or perhaps it had you sobbing into your popcorn like a baby. Whatever the reaction, these memorable film lines have a sneaky way of worming themselves into our hearts and minds, only to be blurted out in random moments and, very often, at the most inopportune times (see your cousin's wedding speech for reference).

In the spirit of celebrating these brilliantly timed quotes from movies, we're taking a walk down memory lane and inviting you to stroll along with us. Side by side, we'll rediscover those laugh-out-loud moments, the tearjerkers that left us reaching for tissues, the legendary catchphrases, and even the occasional facepalm-worthy lines that we just can't help but love. It's impossible to say which movie quotes take the podium; there are so many good ones! But we've compiled a list of the most iconic movie quotes of all time and let the Bored Panda community cast their votes, so you can be confident that these selections are truly remarkable. Enjoy reminiscing about these memorable lines, and share your personal favorites with us! You know, just in case we forgot some authentic gems.

There is a nutritient company actually named "Soylent" (producing their proteins mainly from soy and lentils) that really sells a product named "Soylent Green". While they play around with the concept (slogans like "it's delicious, people", they describe it as "as good as humanly possible"), they obviously felt the need to explicitely print on the packaging that the product (some kind of protein bar) does NOT contain people.
