Her name was Lois VanAlstine. This photo was on display in my grandparent's home. I always thought it was taken in San Diego, but my cousin thinks it's from Yakima, WA. It would have been right before she married my grandfather who was a solider in WWII and a POW. She showed me the telegram after his plane went down. Thankfully he made it home and they were married for 60 years. Lois was a true badass and always told it how it was. I love this photo because it shows her in her true colors (in black and white no less!)
