Probably USA. Other countries do it too (some) but the gross difference between the fast food marketing photos and what you are actually served is just horrendous. I'd like to see a law where the menu pictures have to use random items that actually get served to customers. Fast food lobby would whine claiming, "But the food we actually serve looks s****y and won't sell product!" -- Also shout out to Japan for being one of the countries where often what is shown on the package / ad is what you actually get.

I think they're going to get worse, too. I just read an article saying Panera's CEO was okay sacrificing quality for higher profits. Seems pretty obviously short term as profits will go down once your loyal customers stop frequenting your store becuase the food got worse for the same price.

I'm actually having a harder time dealing with the fact that a college student misspelled "college".

As a Jew from New York, whose ancestors invented the Bagel, that is not a bagel by any standard. 1) it has no hole. 2) the texture is way way off for a bagel, you can literally see the crumb formation and know this is not a bagel.
