I did this too to convince a sexist man that claimed that homemakers do nothing the whole day. If i charged my partner for my services (even at a minimum wage which isnt realistic) he wouldnt be able to afford me. The calculation made me feel much better about myself as a sick woman who cant go to have a paid job

When I was first married, my husband has this same attitude. So I listed all the jobs I did throughout the day such as cook, maid, taxi, shopper, and you get the gist. Then I found a website that gave me the average pay for all the jobs I listed in our state. On his payday, I presented him with my bill and the expected pay amount and his mouth hit the floor. He was in full support of me after that and when he would forget, I would give him another bill.

This one drives me nuts. If you are from Africa and are a citizen of America then you can say that you are African American. It doesn't matter the color of your skin because people of all skin colors/tones live in continent of Africa. yeah because a war is always the answer /rolls eyes. How about just do as I have done in the past with homophobes. My ex husband was a huge homophobe. He thought that if a man was gay, he was automatically going to get hit on by that man. I asked if women were always hitting on him and he said no, then I explained that it's the same thing, men aren't automatically attracted to all men. then I told him to grow the f**k up LOL! Needless to say, he and the others I had similar conversations with are no longer homophobic and will show their support for equality in the LGBT community.
