My little brother was drunk and we had to catch the train home. He asked every single persons in the train station (5 - 10? I can't remember) where the train was going, was this the right train for us etc. He told them "I need to make sure my sister gets home safe".
Unless it is the single player campaign. Then the game can pause....

When my son first started playing computer games, I was a little worried that it was bad for him, and wasn't sure how much excitement I should show him when he did well. Well, he's been playing them for a while, and he's doing well in school and still goes out every day. So he gets a well-deserved high five when he completes a level.
Just re-read my comment, and noticed how many times I repeated the word, "well". Oh well!

My son(11) is aware of this and I do this to him "Are you winning son?" all the time. It's kind of our thing.
My dad asks the same question every time he sees me playing on my PlayStation and I’m 32, he’s done it ever since I got my first console and it’s his way of checking in with me to make I’m enjoying it even though he has no idea about what I’m talking bout and it’s that sort of care for me that shows he loves me no matter what. Especially as he has more in common with my brother who plays rugby and drives a lorry for a living than me who enjoys gaming and reading fantasy novels and lord of the rings. I hope everyone has or gets to have a dad like mine.
