We were so in love with Steve Martin. I went to one of his live comedy shows back in the late 70s and he was just as funny live as he was on TV. And we were all blown away when The Jerk came out. You couldn't stop yourself from muttering "What a jerk!" throughout the movie while you roared. I ought to watch it now 250 years later and see if it strikes me the same, now that I am old and decrepit.

My german Shepherd is a year old this month. He is almost paranormally smart. He saw me pick up his accident twice as a pup and I said Thats ok buddy let's try to do that outside. TWICE. I have never seen another accident in the house, he was 9 weeks lol. He knows about 25 words and can kind of say "I love you too" I have cancer and he has healed my soul. Just talking to him, he looks in my eyes and gives me kisses. little nibbles on my chin. Fuck chicken soup. Dogs are the best. (And cats, but I'm allergic. still have one though.
