Franco, my best friend growing up, had an older step sister named Erminia (we all called her Mima as a nickname for her), and Franco must've been about 8 at the time. Mima was 11 or 12. They were at the beach and she went so far out she started to drown and she was panicking; she was waving and flapping her hands all around to get the lifeguard's attention; he thought she was just being friendly towards her and so he smiled at her and waved back. Till this day her AND Franco don't know how the hell it happened, but Franco managed to swim professionally right over to her and he swam her back to shore, she said it was like he was walking in the water towards her instead of swimming. Mind you she's a little taller than him too. Amazing? Yes. A miracle? Yes. Crazy s**t? YES

Husky in a warm climate isn't bad as long as you keep them well-hydrated. The real issue is they have to have that undercoat brushed out COMPLETELY in the spring (regardless of where you live, btw) or they mat up like mad. The outer coat actually works as insulation, keeping them cooler and preventing sunburn. Don't leave them outside long in warm weather, and throw some ice cubes in their water. Also, don't try to bring them in from the snow until their ready. The neighbors will think you're killing them because of the "talking back" they do. Had a Husky mix where the Husky half came out in his fur. Great dog, smart as anything. Vacuumed him twice a day from March through end of October, and still looked like our living room was carpeted in his fur. God, I miss him.

A summer puppy cut for a dog who doesn’t shed is one thing, but shaving down a dog or cat for a non-medical reason is simply unnecessary. It’s either owner vanity, or groomer incompetence and or “creativity”. And, FFS, NEVER dye their hair, especially at home! Groomers have special non-toxic animal hair dye, you don’t. Human hair dye has chemicals in it that can be toxic to animals, if not to humans, and should never be used on a pet FFS.

Thank you. It's a common behavior for the dogs, who wants to challenge another dog - not always for dominance, but for a play etc. This "hug" also was heavily encouraged by the owners. I wonder how people could live with the dogs and doesn't understand their behaviors even basically.
