Authenticity is an amazingly powerful thing. It makes one a target for all those who are still experiencing the "prisoner is the jailer" dilemma. There are all sorts of prison cells/closets all sorts of folks are stuffing themselves into. Observe how illogical some are here -- they fault a journey to authentic self for being about self! Ignorance like that should be pitied so please know that if those reactions still sting even a little, that's merely echoes of the discarded false self still trying to regain lost power. In time, authenticity strengthens and eventually one realizes that sort of nonsense stopped stinging without one even noticing when that occurred. Well done and best of luck in the continued journey.

Art that needs a gimmick is pretty much like jokes that need explaining. Might appeal to a niche market of those obsessed with breasts/nipples. I think it's more marketable as intimate art a couple might wish done along the same lines as those lingerie/soft porn custom photography services.

This might have worked better if the reading times were staggered to allow less action overall. Problem dogs are often autistic-like where overload (sight, sound, smell) triggers unwelcome behavior. In the cat example, there was a lot more "privacy" afforded to each cat/kid pair-up.

Worst remark I made (after someone offered the old adage about attracting more flies with honey rather than vinegar) was "who'd want a bunch of flies???"

My beloved does this with every single sip of anything liquid. Comes from having way too many hours behind a wheel drinking coffee from a lidded cup. Understandable but still. I occasionally suggest he pour-n-sip instead of "vacuum" but it only works for a while.

Or Iris even noticing the cat? Which is not to say that it couldn't be a totally magical relationship. Yet ... as a parent of a child "on the spectrum", I can say that this is NOT exactly a typical view of autism (if there even is such a thing as "typical" in the autism world). In the popular press, those with autism are so frequently portrayed as having some incredible gift — and some certainly do, but a small percentage. Those gifted autistics naturally get all the exposure. The reality for many is a very different, and very mundane struggle, not worthy of online videos, or Facebook posts, or the attention of art collectors. Just a very, very challenging struggle.

Yes. A lovely story. What a remarkable cat! And a gorgeous, adorable little girl. With phenomenal artistic ability. (Give me any one of those paintings - I would pay a lot to have those INCREDIBLY beautiful things on my wall.) And all from this very young child? Marvelous. I wish I could meet Iris, and I so, so, absolutely wish her and her family the very best. I bet that her art and her beauty will give her a really good life. It does appear that Iris's family has plenty of money to put her story out there. The skeptic in me thinks that maybe it isn't all about showing the positive side of autism? The book, the video ... very slick and well-produced. That's not necessarily saying anything. Yes, I can see why the family might do this - this little girl has such a gift, and she should be able to benefit from her talent. The cat part? It's both wonderful and also feels to me like a bit of an angle? There is not a single image of Iris and the cat actually interacting? Or Iris even not

these people are meat farmers. they allowed six litters of rabbits to freeze to death, and this is one survivor. they are now using him to raise $$ for a book and the farm. if i stabbed someone and paralyzed them and then used them to garner sympathy and raise money for myself i would probably not be liked very much. I think it's called Munchausen's by Proxy.

I'm shocked that this "article" was shared on bored panda. If you look through their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OverlookAcres/) and shift through all the crap on their website, you'll come to find they were at fault for the bunny's problems. This is a "humane" slaughter farm. The conditions that the animals are left in (freezing cold, unsanitary, etc) is more than likely what caused the bunny to have issues in the first place. And, they are pivoting a kickstarter campaign for their farm off of the "love and concern" for this poor bunny. I don't normally comment on things, but I'd be upset if I would have shared this video (which I almost did) and didn't know the truth.

I Used Months Of Menstruation To Create Beauty

It is red paint. Blood is tough to imitate and this type of blood tends to have brown undertones that are missing here. That aside, I've always sensed art that shocks/revolts often does so to compensate a lack. This didn't shock me but I see it may have others.
