I carry post it notes and a marker with me for people like this, I would leave a note saying " I don't care that you have a kid that was your choice, you park like shit and I have your license number. If my car is damaged in anyway I will be calling the police. "

If your kid can't sit at a table and have a meal in a restaurant without watching a movie then don't bring them out in public. The rest of the world should not have to put up with this because you don't know how to parent. People need to start saying something to people like this. I was at a restaurant once and this kid kept running around the tables. The restaurant staff didn't do anything about them so I did. I walked him to his parents and said "If this is yours, keep him under control. I am out to have a nice dinner with my husband and contrary to what you may think not everyone enjoys your kid." Other patrons in the restaurant clapped and cheered, needless to say that family got to-go boxes and left.
