I’m An 18-Year-Old Artist From Portugal And I Like Merging Unexpected Objects To Create Surreal Art
I’ve always been fascinated by arts, but I only discovered photography through Instagram at the age of 15. At the beginning I took simple photos with my mobile phone, but soon I realized I wanted to learn more. As my interest in photography grew, I started to search and try new techniques, leading me to Photoshop.
The first image I edited on Photoshop was published in March, 2015. Since then it’s been a long way. Everything I know I learned by myself, watching tutorials about Photoshop on Youtube.
Every day I try to improve my skills and attempt new concepts. I found in photo manipulation a daily challenge to deconstruct and reconstruct my own reality which I post on my Instagram account.
For the last two years, I’ve been composing surreal images merging unexpected objects, figures and locations using real-life photographs. I try to create a dream-like world through my images where everything is possible. I believe there’s no limit to imagination and creativity.
At the moment I’m living in Lisbon, Portugal and studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa) majoring in Multimedia Art.

One draw which says so much about a big tragedy on earth. I'm impressed
Okay, this might be my favorite! It's going to be my wallpaper, that's for sure!

Here, let me just get some hoomans for dinner
Load More Replies...mixing my favourite thing with one of my most hated foods ever. i don't know whether to be amazed or horrifed
Giant broccoli? What kinda twisted mind would even imagine such a horrible thing.
Okay I think whale couldn't be cooler. he has just hit his... peak.
I would love me one of those. Ain't nobody messing with me ever again
Cool I didn't know that and purple is my favorite color and my name means bee.
Load More Replies...quality of this one is a bit bad + image on bottom is way too stretched out
this one doesn't look like it took long to make at all. this looks like beginner photoshop almost
the city is very low quality compared to the squirrel, but i get it
This is stunning! I've just discovered your page & I'm loving your work!!
that man is very poorly photoshopped into the picture, and the scale is very off. The man is GIANT and the stairs are WAY too long compared to the size of the windows.
I like this idea, however it would look much better to see this in high definition
The picture is very blurry for some reason. Look at the grass. The man is also poorly photoshopped because he clearly doesn;t fit in with the pink filter at all.
Would look better in high definition, and if the picture wasn't that sharp. Jesus
Symbol of a guy trying to win the love of an ice queen. Underneath that frozen heart lies sweetness
Heart is very blurry, and overall this picture would look gorgeous if it was in high def
The kid needs to be put through some type of filter. Would also look better in hd
The picture of the water looks like it was a picture of the sun taken with a handheld waterproof camera made in 2002 that just got wet all over
As I continue to explore my passion for photography and photo manipulation, I've been intrigued by the possibility of using art to connect with broader themes like nature and human expression.
This aligns with artists like Daniel Popper, whose work explores our interaction with nature through sculptural art. Drawing inspiration from such interdisciplinary approaches can truly broaden one's creative horizons.
