“She Literally Can’t Sing”: People Are Sharing The Worst Singers That Made It Big
InterviewIt takes a lot to be a performer. You need stamina, a thick skin, a unique look and a charismatic personality. And while it would be great if you’re super talented too, that’s not a requirement, apparently.

Whether you love these stars or not, there’s no denying that some of them could benefit from a few voice lessons. Yoko Ono.
-z-z-x-x-:
I love that video where John Lennon was on stage singing Johnny b good with chuck berry and they just cut her mic off
She knows she can’t sing well. But she is a performance artist and that is part of her art. It’s not really a hot take
I totally get it. She has had her moments when her orgasm vocals fit the bill, like in Day of the Sunflowers by Basement Jaxx. She actually sings.. more like speaks words in that song. Takes a bit of a mature ear to listen to without laughing. I wouldn't listen to it with others around. But that beat slaps.
Load More Replies...Another reason to abso-f*****g-lutely despise Yoko is because she made Julian, John's son from his first marriage, buy his father's belongings from the auctions she put. HE HAD A MORAL RIGHT. John wasn't any better.
After his mother abandoned him, you would think John would have made more of an effort to be a good dad to Julian. He didn't.
Load More Replies...No she married a known abuser, had kids with him and complicity turned the other way
Load More Replies...C'mon, the instrumental was miles better. Obvs ;))
Load More Replies...Her song Beautiful Boys was on the B side of one of my mom’s John Lennon 45s. That creepy song still haunts me.
Kid Rock. He can barely "rap", and he definitely can't sing. I do admit my opinion might be colored by my intense hatred for this poser a*****e.
"Bawitaba da bang, da dang diggy diggy Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie My name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid Kid ROCK
Load More Replies...Agree. He also didn't come from a trailer park background. His family had money and a big house in his youth. He's just as fake as all the MAGA fatcats.
and also he is not "straight out the trailer," he grew up on a massive estate in Michigan in a very wealthy family.
I almost skipped this one. Open it and there's kid ridiculous at tip top of the listings. Let the validation wash over me!
Drake. The dude just talks with auto tune on.
Everything he puts out sounds the same. This happens to be the music that gets played on blast on the bus, so I have a special hate for Drake.
No one holds a candle to Kanye West for being a lousy singer ....don't believe me ...listen to his rendition of Freddie Mercury's songs !!!!!
Funny how everyone is hating on this man because it's trending, yet he sold a f-ton of music. I think Kendrick has influenced too many opinions. I don't care much for either, but it seems all Kendrick raps about is hating on folks.
I never liked his music. Kendrick is a better rapper in my opinion, but that doesn't mean I like *his* songs. "They're not like us" is pretty funny, though.
Load More Replies...TBH, very few can sing without autotune. It’s too bad, because a GOOD, natural, un-autotuned voice can be so wonderful and unique. Perfection becomes boring very quickly. I prefer to hear a good voice WITH its unique imperfections intact.
There are plenty who can sing without autotune. They don#t get famous, often, because the studios believe people prefer artificial perfection, but there are many good singers out there, singing in choirs, in bars or just for themselves. And many famous singers also have good voices - they still get 'tuned, though.
Load More Replies...Isn't that what rapping is? XD I'm joking, for everyone out there who immediately get offended. We all like our own music and I respect that. But I seriously do not like rap.
Depends very much on the rapper, for me. I used to not-like it as well but I got to understand the history and the art of it, and it IS an art. Good rap isn't *just* saying words that rhyme - it's about finding patterns, finding rhymes where you don't expect them, about bringing a message with it (not always, though) and finding a pocket in the beat. The pockets aren't always the same, and not go with the melody sometimes but, for example, hit in tune with a drumbeat, or a clap or something hidden in the beat. that said - Drake doesn't do much for my tastebuds.
Load More Replies...To find out how this conversation started in the first place, we reached out to Reddit user ZarieRose, who invited readers to share examples of singers that they don't think have great voices.
"I saw a similar post about comedians, so I thought it would be interesting to see what people’s takes about singers were," the author told Bored Panda.
Jennifer Lopez
She literally can't sing.
puremotives:
Agreed. That's why she gets Ashanti to do it for her
I think JLo is a genius (maybe an evil one!)! She's not a great singer nor a great actress, but she had big succes in everything that she tried to do!
There are several songs where she had other artists sing the hooks for her
Load More Replies...She's a good stage performer though (meaning she can put on a good show and captivate an audience), so I think that's a big reason she's been so successful.
I fist saw her in Kindergarten Cop when I was like 10 and I thought she was hot. Other than that I've barely noticed her. Even if she could sing, the genres she chooses are terrible anyway.
Cardi B. Can't stand her as a singer. Can't stand her as a human being.
I'm reminded of her lives at the beginning of the pandemic *bawling* into her Froot Loops because she couldn't go buy sushi.
Can't wait for her to become a grandma, then we can call her Cardigran. ;-)
At her AA meetings, she's known as Bacardi B.
Load More Replies...I love me some rap and hip hop, Wu Tang and 2Pac are more my speed. Honestly, I do not think Cardi B is particularly good at it at all.

Maybe he could sing if he were to exercise his tongue eating at the Y. 🤬
lol DEEEJAYYYYYY KHALLLEDDDDD cracked me up. I can’t help but laugh when I hear this and then think about his epic “Hot Ones” fail hahahaha
We were also curious to know if there are any famous singers that ZarieRose isn't particularly impressed by. "I’d say Ray," the OP shared. "Not that she’s a bad singer, she just suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere, and there’s so much hype around her. I think her songs are nice but not as outstanding as some other artists."
Jojo Siwa, don't think i need to explain lol.
alfie_the_elf
Ah, yes. The first and only gay pop star, bringing gay dance music to the world.
What ever would we do without her contributions to music?
I almost forgot about her. I actually did forget about her. But someone always keeps bringing her up.
Load More Replies...She's like Shirley Temple's evil doppelganger, total opposite personification. I think that's why some are fascinated at the hot mess that is Siwa. She ripped off other music artists and I hope she's stopped soon. Someone needs to tell her there's more important things in the world. I miss Shirley Temple.
I could see this one from a mile away. Jojo has GOT to be joking with this "rebrand" of hers..
It seems contrived, like she was told to do this, and likely by her mother, who's been the driving force of her branding.
Load More Replies...She got famous from Dance Moms. She's a good dancer, but not much of a singer. Her image has been fabricated and managed since she was a little kid, and now she doesn't know how to exist. I always kind of felt bad for her
WHO 🤷♀️ok so I’m 60 but got young kids 23-20 n I’ve never heard of her lol
Not young enough. She is more popular among 9-13 year olds.

MGK, bro is doing all the genres and being s**t at all of em.
MGK is by no means a bad artist. You can't be a rap fan and say with good conscience that "Hotel Diablo" was a bad album. The Pop/Rock stuff he did with Yungblood and Travis Barker was pretty good as well.
Yeah, I really like the songs Last November (I like sad songs😪) and I Think I'm OK (with Youngblood)
Load More Replies...Credit where it is due, I'm a big Eminem fan, like, top 1% of listeners every year on Spotify, and I have to say that Rap Devil was a pretty god diss track. It got him a fair bit of respect in the game but like Eminem said in his Killshot reply, 'had to give you a career to destroy it'.
Jaden Smith.
Wow, of a list of 50 people, there were 8 i heard of. I am surely old
He’s just riding on the coat tails of being the kid of Jada and Will
The author also believes that stars shouldn't try to make up for their lack of vocal skills by being charismatic. "I definitely think talent is more important over personality," ZarieRose says. "There’s probably so many fantastic singers out there, but they don’t get enough attention because they may be shy and don’t have the stage presence."
Every single mumble rapper.
Exactly what it sounds like. Where they mumble the rap so bad you cannot understand the lyrics.
Load More Replies...That’s what rap is. “Music” (using that term very loosely) for people who can’t sing.
Don't be too hard on the genre itself. I agree - it's mostly for people who are s****y singers. But the rapping itself (not mumble-rap!) is pretty cool if a skilled person gets at it.

Low-hanging fruit here, but Ice Spice.
gruccimanee:
the way she got rich and famous by recycling the same beat for multiple 3 minute songs full of poop and fart references is so crazy to me
The first time I heard about her I thought the Spice Girls were getting back together and she was some sort of new spice girl.
Her songs are basically chock full of toilet humor references. Dunno if its a fetish, but you're a lucky one to not know about her songs.
Load More Replies...She is an actual clown person. Ronald McDonald is more talented than her and with better hair!
At least Ronald McDonald has something to offer.

Doja Cat. Just straight up cannot sing. Has to rely on technology.
I’ve never heard her sing but always wondered why she was so desperate for attention through makeup and clothing, guess now I know.
UH, she's an entertainer. That's what they all want. Duh.
Load More Replies...Seems everybody wants that autotune-sound - even people who CAN sing. Gives me the heebiejeebies to listen to
S/ Like the classic "Mooo!" by Doja Cat; https://youtu.be/mXnJqYwebF8?si=iFvFjr5hpEhAmOza
She's talented and hilarious. Writes music, rap, dance, sort of sings, and I f-ing dig her.
Load More Replies...I would honestly be too distracted by the looks to notice her singing. XD
Finally, we asked the author what she thought of the replies to her post. "The top choice of Jennifer Lopez was a surprise, but I have a feeling it’s more to do with her association with P Diddy," she noted. "It was a lot of fun reading through the responses and seeing the different opinions. Some people said Enrique Iglesias, didn’t expect that. He has a beautiful voice in my opinion."
Florence Foster Jenkins was so terrible she sold out Carnegie Hall.
bakewelltart20:
The film about her is incredibly sad, but I almost choked to death laughing at the singing.
I have no idea how the actors managed to keep straight faces, especially Meryl herself.
Oh my ... Florence was great, once you set yourself up to accept that not every standard perception of what is beauty, nice, good, to be cast in stone. EVERY non-equal-step tone system or a close relative thereof sounds wrong to us used to this very system. Same with hitting the notes in perfect pitch, or ... not. There's something to her that vastly exceeds just being some sort of novelty, haha-worst-singer-haha showoffery of one's übercoolness, and ... you can hear that. You can hear a beauty in her singing that doesn't consist of making fun of her, but ... usually, that's how and why she's seen, heard, known, even. Florence was a great singer by a very special standard, and I'd agree that not every time and place is right for this, but she is by no means just some lady with too big a purse and too empty a schedule. Her performances ooze of coolness, confidence, and while being off any and every chart regarding perfect pitching of the own voice, it's a consistent aesthetic in her work that deserves being appreciated.
I think what won people over was her unfailing full-out confidence in herself.
Load More Replies...Her tone deafness was likely caused by brain damage due to syphilis, which she contracted from her first husband, whom she married when she was FOURTEEN and he was 30 (the age of consent in Pennsylvania at that time was TEN YEARS OLD). From Wikipedia: "On July 11, 1883, ten days after the funeral of her sister and eight days before her 15th birthday, Foster married Dr. Francis Thornton Jenkins (1852–1917), a physician 16 years her senior, in Philadelphia. (In the 1880s, the age of consent for marriage in Pennsylvania was ten.[11]) The following year, after learning that she had contracted syphilis from her husband, she ended their relationship and reportedly never spoke of him again."
Robin Thicke should thank Pharrell and Emily Ratajkowski because it sure wasn't his talent that made that song popular.
I'm more bitter that Pharrell got away clean in the justified backlash of that song.
I only know Blurred Lines, but I think he sounds very good in that song, nice singing, nice voice.
Yeah, if only that song didn't have disgusting lyrics from start to finish

Did they really “make it big”, though?

Not sure ... I think its the result of an average tattooist having two half-wits to practice on ... and wigs and supa-glue ?
Load More Replies...Lol they have gold teeth covers. And the hair is now a style there's loads of lads walking around looking like a poodle that needs a good brush
Load More Replies...The funniest thing is their parents are wealthy, they call themselves island boys even though they’ve never been, their parents are from there so that makes them island boys. And once they finally figured out people were only watching their music to laugh, I think they started an onlyfans or some channel where they passionately kiss each other.
Looks and terrible singing aside, I did watch that one podcast they were on with Logan Paul (I don't watch his podcasts, I was just curious about these 2.). There's undoubtedly a lot of pain and sadness I see in them. They don't react well with a bit of bantering and criticism. Just something about them I find more depressing than anything.
Roseanne Barr.
Technicolor_Reindeer:
for the laaaand of the FREEEEEEEEEEE
While Roseanne Barr can't really be called famous for her singing (infamous maybe) I do have to agree that she both cannot sing and should not be famous.
People would forget that once they hear Tom McDonald's latest dumpster fire with Roseanne.
She never claimed to be a singer and when they asked her to do this, she thought they wanted a comedic take on the anthem. Like why else would they ask a comedian who cannot sing to do it? The backlash was silly. Now the other s**t she pulled this last decade is a whole other story.
It is part of her thing to have an annoying voice and I'm saddened to see how far she has crashed.
Iggy Azalea.
all the way to the top with this one. she's atrocious. her sound is awful
I don't know what to call that style of "vocalization" (it's not singing ) but it's kind of like a record scratch...e-aw-e-aw-e- but quite a few female, let's call them artists, use that same style
I will die on the hill that Chris brown cannot sing but can dance. Disgusting scum piece of s**t but yea he can dance. Never could sing tho.
Another idiot post. Just becaise you don't like him doesn't mean he can't sing. More idiots
John Lennon. Can sing. Can't dance. Also a disgusting scum piece of shìť.
Sexxy Redd. Turn that s**t off.
She looks like a teacher some guy just caught working at her night job.
Jessica Simpson.
She's actually a good singer. Her marketing team wanted her to be on par with Britney Spears, though, and she didn't want to be like that. She wanted to be a Christian music singer, but she didn't look like one (she had big boobs), so they tried to make her into a pop star. Because she was pushed into pop, she was often compared to Britney and Christina and always came out the loser.
Load More Replies...She should really stick to selling handbags and shoes. A lot of the handbags and shoes are cute.

Bob Dylan. Great writer. Terrible singer.
So according to the title of this thread, bob Dylan should never make it big??? My God, bob Dylan is a poet of our era and wrote some of the most important songs for generations. Yeah he is not here for his voice but how could we include him in this thread along with the rest
Yes a poet and a writer.... not necessarily a good singer..but hey that's Uncle Bobby ..I grew up with him. and then of course Tom Petty I think went to the same vocal style School and he made it big ...also a good writer... I feel like when we judge singing It's... I don't know...a pitch... a style...a flow doesn't make it necessarily bad
Load More Replies...Terrible singer *now*. Earlier on, his voice was perfect for his music. I have yet to hear a better version of Blowin' In the Wind than his original.
It seems to me, original folk music was 85% lyrics, and 15% stylized singing until groups like Peter, Paul & Mary came along.
Load More Replies...Okay, not every music artist is a singer. Some are more music writers who would rather do the vocals for their songs, because what they wrote is so personal only they would be able to convey the emotions and understand how to sing it.
Omg I grew up listing to his music he is amazing ! Leave him outta it pfft
Part of what makes Bob Dylan so iconic, I think, is the way he sings his songs. His unique voice, his unique way of singing, and his amazing lyrics and music just make everything about it awesome.
I love that people are just naming people they don't like who aren't amazing singers when there's people like Playboi Carti out there
The guy that sings on the Burger King commercials. What a terrible singer!
SlainSigney:

Ethel Merman was known as the worst singer.
She was fabulous.
No one sings *There's No Business Like Show Business* like she does.
Brava, Ms. Merman!
She sang everything through her nose and had a very unique tone but it was all in tune.
Absolutely nothing nasal whatsoever about her voice. Do an impression of her and hold the roof of your nose. If it sounds anything at all like hers it will not vibrate. Now do an impression of Bob Dylan. THAT is what a nasal tone sounds like. If you have a cold, you don’t sound nasal, you sound oral because you cannot sing through your nose. Sorry but as a trained stage singer these common misconceptions really bother the heck out of me!
Load More Replies...This is completely ignorant. Her medium was that she was a stage singer. That is a lost art today with microphones and the fact that musical theatre is a waning art. She created the “belt” which is basically powerful, supported shout-singing and something every single stage actor practices. Any trained musical actor will tell you that her singing rattled the back of the house (theatre) and was truly awe-inspiring to witness.
I'm sorry, you may not like her voice but the woman could sing.
She was loud and intense, which was unusual in her day. It made her unique, and caught the ear of Cole Porter, who cast her in the lead role in Anything Goes on Broadway in 1934. A little trivia: She went to secretarial school, and was working as a secretary, before embarking on her singing career. I remember it being brought up back in the day of talk shows (I was still a kid, and I’m 64 now, so maybe late sixties to early seventies). She demonstrated to the audience that she still knew how to take shorthand. I find it Interesting to find out what celebrities went to school for, trained for! and did for a living before they were famous.
Ethel Merman was incredible, she could belt out a song like nobody's business. No electronic frippery for her! I saw her on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun when I was a kid, must have been towards the end of her career. There was an honesty in her that no one on this list has.
Stage actors and singers always have this piece of the puzzle go completely overlooked bc with true stage performers you simply have to experience them in person to get it. So many times I’ve heard from ppl who have gone to a concert for someone they never cared for previously and they come out going, “Man I had no idea! Now I’m a fan!” For me it was Rod Stewart 😆
Load More Replies...I downvoted this because I agree that she's a good singer, just annoying :D
She had a totally unique style and had an enormous voice which didn't need mics. She could really sell a song and make it memorable. Who can sing Some People better than her??? There was a reason why she was hired for so many musicals and it wasn't for her looks. She could really bring songs to life. She also had a big range which she used in Annie Get Your Gun.
I simply read her name and I can hear the heck out of her voice
William Hung (showing my age here😂).

American Idol knew what they were doing.
Fergie. That NBA All-Star game National Anthem was legendary.
Fergie actually has a great voice, she just made a dog’s breakfast of that National Anthem.
People also need to realize the National Anthem isn't easy to sing. Too many people eff themselves over by not starting low enough at the beginning
Load More Replies...Slash has said he thinks she's "the best rock singer". Although, her rendition of Sweet Child Of Mine is grating. I think she has potential if she would learn to control her damn vocals.
She used to be able to sing. When she was a kid it was fine, then someone told her to try something and it all went to s**t.
She had a bad meth problem. That will mess your voice up

Maybe I'm too old, but I feel like I can never understand any of Ariana Grande's lyrics. They just seem smooshed all together into one indistinct sound.
I agree with OP: There are nice things about her voice, but her technique is so bad that her songs are unlistenable., and not just indecipherable.
Load More Replies...I feel like she is one of the most misunderstood vocalists, and not just in a literal sense. I think some of the songs she sings (she does have a group of songwriters.) make her sound really snobby, stuck up, vapid. But I also get a sense of it all being satire, like she doesn't really take it all seriously but rolls with it for the art of it all.
This comment should not be down voted! This is someone's inoffensive opinion, of which they are entitled to. If you disagree, say so, you are also entitled to an opinion. Down votes are for ignorance, racism, sexism, misogyny, and hate. Not sharing an opinion on a pop star.
Load More Replies...her eyes freak me out. They're like Japanese cartoon eyes

Does she have another mode? She always has that same heavily medicated look on her face
Something about the way she sings just grates on me like nails on a chalkboard.
She's actually a classically trained singer and has quite a beautiful voice. She's just using it to make bad music at the moment.

Katy Hudson before she became "Katy Perry"
Tones and I. Holy s**t is that voice irritating.
Okay, so the backstory of dance monkey is that she was busking one night and got some heckling. Someone made a video of her and she found it and saw all the comments. Dance Monkey is her reiterating all those comments.

I can’t believe I’m not seeing Marilyn Manson here. He sounds like a drunk lounge singer trying to be spooky.
beartheminus:
Hes almost a performance artist and not a singer really. Its all about the theatrics etc. I still don't like it though.
This sounds more like "I don't like this music" than "this singer sucks"
Manson is one of my fave artists. His new album is so freaking good
He's a musician who happens to sing, and his singing voice aligns with the genre he works in. How many genres of Metal are there in which the singing style is "SCREAM AS LOUD AS YOU CAN" Hell of a lot different than someone who is strictly a "vocalist" largely singing songs that other people wrote while other people play instruments because they don't actually have any musical talent.
Saw them live opening for Nine Inch Nails in 1994. Absolutely savage in person. He's not the greatest singer (especially when his competition for the evening is peak-era Trent Reznor), but he's one helluva showman.

I absolutely LOVE the great Dave M.!!! Metallica treated Dave like c**p. MEGADETH is better than Metallica lol.

My favorite song in high school was "She Will Be Loved." I wasn't allowed to watch MTV or VH1 so I never saw the music video until a few years ago. I hate him. It's about a young girl and her boyfriend but the boyfriend sees the mom is getting abused and is sleeping with her behind the girls back. It ruined that song for me
Hilary Duff.
Ashley Tisdale.
Like Hillary Duff, she’s not a bad singer. She’s an average singer
Not sure about worst, but Paula Abdul definitely comes to mind. Very weak, thin voice. Seems like she was a dancer who got forced into being a singer too.
TBF, anyone old enough knows her as a dancer first and a singer second.
Well, she was part of the Jackson family. I agree, she had that one hit that was good. But the rest I don't like. She's not super terrible, just not a strong voice.
Two decent hits! "Straight Up" and "Opposites Attract".

Take That.
Gary Barlow and to a lesser degree Mark Owen could definitely sing. And Robbie is just a great entertainer. Donnow about the last two though.
Idk, Mark never wowed me with his singing. Definitely wouldn't have become famous on his own without the group. Gary and Robbie were the ones with the most talent singing wise. Too bad things turned out the way they did with them in the 90s. I vividly still remember hearing the news of the group breaking up and crying about it.

She's quite talented. Despite the fact that everyone mispronounces her name. ;)
I don't think she's that bad. My favourite thing about her though is that in Australia everyone pronounced her name the way it is written, then had to learn to pronounce it correctly (too-veloo)
Justin Timberlake.
yes but only after crying me a river hehehehehe
Load More Replies...Maybe they meant Nick Carter. I was a huge BSB fan and had a big crush on him but he is an abysmal piece of s**t and cannot sing at all.
Yeah everybody was crazy over him but JC Chasez is a MUCH BETTER singer. I'm guessing the record company pushed Justin over the others.
Lin Manuel Miranda.
NO QUESTION that man can write a song. But he sucks at singing!
I find this one confusing. He can definitely sing. He has absolutely no problem carrying a tune. Certainly, without his writing he wouldn't be famous for his singing, but to say he sucks is just incorrect. Just look at how Hamilton did while he played THE LEAD.
Agreed. He knows his limitations as a singer and is a brilliant writer so can work with it. Obviously anyone listening to “Dear Theodosia” can differentiate who is the talented singer and who can carry a tune, but the genius wrote it that way and doesn’t try to be anything he isn’t.
Load More Replies...He really doesn't have a very good voice and he's only an okay singer. He doesn't suck, he can certainly sing, but just really not Broadway level. His singing felt very weak in Hamilton, I felt like he would never have been cast if he hadn't written it. Because such roles usually go to the best of the best, not to an okay singer. Compared to all the other singers in it, he is clearly a couple of levels lower. I love him for his writing and personality though.
Regardless of whether he wrote it or not, for two years he played the lead in one of the most successful Broadway musicals of all time. There are certainly better singers than him, but he has definitely proven that his singing ability is Broadway level.

I’ll probably be downvoted to buggery, but I don’t think that Beyoncé is a good singer. She’s autotuned to the sky.
Nah, I agree. She's been putting out some really boring songs. I miss Destiny's Child.
Load More Replies...So many posts here about people who really can sing, but the OP just doesn't like their singing. Not liking a singer and thinking they're actually *bad* are two different things.
Some of these are politically motivated, but i know what you mean. I feel the same way about Celine Dion, I know that she's a talented singer, but her voice just does not resonate with me. I especially hated her more when she decided to remake John Lennon's, Happy Christmas; she ruined a beautiful song with her over the top rendition. Lennon wanted to people to focus on the lyrics and message of the song, not how well it can be sung. Almost every artist that has remade that song make the same mistake, but Celine is by far the worst!
Load More Replies...I'm gonna get downvoted to hell, but Taylor Swift shouldn't have made it big. And to all the people saying "she's an excellent song writer", I disagree. All her songs are generic fluff and that would be fine if people would stop trying to prop her up as the "next Shakespeare".
I'm inclined to politely disagree, she has some really awesome, catchy song, and her voice is incredible. Although, I will admit her new album isn't too awesome.

I have a hard time mistaking Billie Eilish's whispering for singing.
Every song of hers that plays on the radio at work in the store, it sounds like there's an odd beat between silence and then all you hear is a faint "damn".
Load More Replies...Rhianna's voice hurts my nervous system, and her lyrics are repetitive and mindless. I hate every sound that she has ever made.
"Work work work work work" ugh can't stand it. I'm sure if she had a 9-5 she had to drudge through she would have never written that monotone c**p.
Load More Replies...Maybe I'm getting old but most of today's pop stars all sound the same. Their lyrics so mumbled that I can barely hear what they're singing.
I'm going to guess this list was mainly made by people who just dislike the artist cause a lot of them can sing 😅 I see some actual good answers but definitely some that don't make any sense.
