I have long white hair, but in the UK, I don't think we have anything like that. However, when I visited my eldest (NYC) she took me to a hairdresser and I had a relatively short cut and donated. I kind of agree. My daughter was incorrectly diagnosed with ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) and they wanted to put her on a slew of pills at age 6. I ran from that office and never looked back. We fought for someone else to take a gander. The school district finally got the diagnostician to look at her when she was 11. She has severe depression and anxiety, is autistic and ADHD plus OCD tendency. Now that she's received some therapy, she's doing much better! It took me fighting constantly for 5 years to get someone to listen!

Absolutely the case. One Dr told me that every single fat woman she treated was abused as a child, she said she wasn't sure if it was a defense response or if they were picked because of weight. My dad just beat us and forced me to overeat by hitting me at dinner if I didn't want to finish the adult sized portion I'd been served. I am somewhat recovered, I am no longer a member of the clean plate club. I've lost and gained and lost again 100 pounds, still have work to do. Beat cancer twice so I do at times just say screw it I want that treat even though it's not a good idea.
