I found this one on the website of a powder coating shop in Mississippi, in a slideshow of projects they’ve completed. Still don’t know who built it, but at least it’s reasonably certain that it really exists.

Ali has been running the "Call It Design" page for four years now. We were curious to know the secret behind the Internet Magazine's longevity. "When I first started 'Call It Design,' it was simply a passion project," Ali told us. "A place where I could gather and showcase the kinds of design that I personally found inspiring."

"Over the years, what's kept it going strong is the genuine connection it has with the audience. I think the secret lies in staying true to a few core principles: consistency, creativity, and community." The 149k followers the page garnered through the years may not be massive, but it's all about quality, not quantity, right?

My mom resurfaced our pool with this weird pebbly-texture stuff a couple of decades ago. It was pretty - it made the bottom of the pool look like it was covered in a mixed mosaic of tiny pebbles. And it was a NIGHTMARE for swimming. You couldn't tell where the steps were. You couldn't tell where the bottom sloped up at the edges. You couldn't tell where the depth changed. It was horrible XD plus it had a rough texture and I'm sure you can imagine how THAT felt on wrinkly-wet feet after a bit of swimming/pool-time. My mom had the pool redone (AGAIN) about 10 years ago and went back to a normal smooth plaster coat XD I imagine this Starry Night pool, while gorgeous, is similar to the pebble-coating on our pool - like you said, VERY hard to see any landmarks in the pool. Personally I'd have painted an edging line (in white or bright yellow) on the edge of the steps at the very least.

Ali also explained what he considers to be good modern design. "I've always believed that great design is about more than just aesthetics—it's about the stories that these designs tell, the emotions they evoke, and how they make spaces (and lives) function better."

"Every post I share aims to strike that balance between beauty and practicality, and I think that's what has helped 'Call It Design' resonate with so many people over time. Design trends may change, but the love for something that truly works—on both a functional and emotional level—remains constant," Ali believes.

Nope. Found it on Etsy. They’re each custom made so you can’t get this one, but they’ll build you something like it. This, but with level shelves would look just as interesting, but also be a lot more functional.

It's very pretty, too. Aeroplane dropdown tables! We have tables between ours (UK), and they're pretty spacious overall. All the interiors differ (colourwise, mostly). It blocks off that part of the house. We don't have anything like this, but we do have doors we can close to block free access to our entire house when needed. We have a lot of pets, and on occasions when we have people over for holidays or barbecue (people going in & out of the house), we let our pets have the entire rest of the house, and we close the doors. It also helps when you don't want someone wandering around your house.

"Saklıkent" means "Hidden city" or "Hidden town" in Turkish. There are several restaurants/cafes with that name in the country. This one is in Fethiye at the western end of Turkey's Mediterranean coast. I think the water feature is a pool but as this is a well-watered, hilly/mountainous area, it's likely fed by local streams.

Right?! For those who dont know, probably 80 percent of new residential builds in the U.S. are finished with vinyl siding that is either beige, tan, or gray. Some 'daring' bulders choose white, cream, or if they really want to go crazy, a blue-gray. It is monotonous and boring.

Barça is the nickname for the football team, not for the city. That would be Barna.

"While the minimalist styles tend to inspire admiration, it's the more layered, complex designs that invite dialogue—and that mix is what makes curating content so much fun," Ali sums up. "The audience's reactions help guide what I post, but I also like to push boundaries and expose them to styles they might not normally engage with."

It may just be to block out some of the natural light. I tend to have a sentisivity to light and have to keep my blinds closed all the time; this may be great to minimise the amount of light coming in.

I prefer the view of trees, tbh. Maybe they don't like sunshine entering their home?? Or they work nights (although the light coming through would still keep me awake, lol)? I have privacy covers above my bedroom/bathroom doors that have those stupid glass 'windows'. I have stained-glass effect ones, though.

No, black works way better from a design standpoint. A purple door would look garish. You'd have to make the window frames purple too to not make the door look displaced and you would loose the contrast

I think it's a Ford Transit van. They have several different cargo-body lengths available and some models are made to be work/utility vans, so they don't have seating/benches in the back. Plus I imagine that the books are boxed up or otherwise stored when the van is in motion, and the employees place the books on the shelves once the van is parked in its "sell" spot. I imagine they perhaps park in the same spot for several days/a weekend and then repack their books when they move on to their next spot.

Def for a childless peep/older kids. You'd have to have loooong corner covers for that not to poke a toddlers eye/ head. It would be fantastic if it was rounded, even for the safety of adult shins/little toes.

Tiny houses only exist because real houses have become unattainably overpriced. It would make for a nice weekend getaway rental. The compromises needed to live in it would quickly become tiresome.

I love how they call these "Tiny Houses" now. Years ago, they were called "Park Models". You would find these in trailer camp parks. and they were a lot less expensive than they are now. Way too cramped inside to be a permanent residence for me. Good for a weekend getaway.

    Sand Ers

Most of them are built much more robustly than a park model trailer. They’re built like houses, not RVs. Fully framed insulated walls, higher quality appliances, normal doors, windows and flooring, etc.

On the webpage where it’s being sold there’s a pic of it being held. Handle is too short, and it looks uncomfortable.

Ruined? Even assuming it’s real (and I don’t think it is) a paint job on a multi-million dollar car is not a significant expense.
