Ben Kingsley is half British, but also Indian by way of his father who was Ismaili Muslim Khoja decent. Whitewasing doesn't really fit here. I also don't remember anyone getting upset by his portrayal. He was amazing in this role and showed great respect for the man.

I think this is really cool of them to do that. To me it does show respect because the pride flag is rainbow and they wanted that to be the only thing rainbow that mattered that day. I really like this a lot, especially since I'm part of the LGBT community. I agree with Crystal Rose when she said "I love skittles and now I love them even more!"
