This is the exact falsehood though. The gifts and shít don’t make you happy at all. Not at all. Money buys happiness only in the sense that being poor is a fuçking miserable hellish experience. So it eliminates being poor. That’s it and that’s all. You can have all that other stuff and still be so sad. You just have a better chance at having free time to focus and better yourself.

Not Photoshopped: Photographer Uses Only Lens To Make The Moon Look Supersized (26 Pics)

Whether you use PS or just double expose in body, these shots are not a single image and are still manipulated. It’s the equivalent of saying that “I didn’t use a PC to make this image, I used an I-Pad Pro. If the photographer was using an entry level DSLR, he would have been forced to use Photoshop or another image manipulation program. If he using film, he would have rolled back the frame, shot his double, then processed it in the Darkroom. My point is while these are great pictures and there is definitely skill involved to do a proper double exposure, saying you didn’t use PS to make them is silly. He did use the camera (and his knowledge of how to make double exposures). What he didn’t do was line up his subjects and snap the shot. None of that changes the fact that these are creative and well executed. He just needs to drop the photoshop bit and let the work speak for itself.

I just scrolled back up to check it out after reading your comment and you’re right. It’s a totally different handwriting. Idk what the deal is maybe the underage girl wrote it. Maybe someone else but the top font looks a bit similar to the font written on the bottom paper that has the squares and that’s usually for the server to write down the order. I don’t want to call anyone a liar but I’m a little suspicious now.

I would say that she (and many of her commenters, both positive and negative) has a case of epically missing the point. We do all have the same 24 hours, even though we don't have the same advantages and disadvantages. So even if you can't afford household help, you have a choice in whether you spend time to cook healthy food for your children or whether you buy fast food for them (but then have more time, which you could use to either help them with their homework or to watch TV). Your choice how you want to use the time you have

You choose to go to your 2 jobs...there are others in your position who would make different choices. You are making investments in yourself and your future... Shailja Patel makes a point about the wealthy having access to time in way that the rest of don't, but she makes a lot of assumptions. For example, she assumes that people don't want to spend any of their daily 24 hours cooking, cleaning or caring for their children. These activities may be either drudgery or incredibly fulfilling, depending on one's attitude. There is also an assumption that people "should" be doing what she thinks they "should" be doing. I may choose to let my dishes pile up in the sink while I binge Netflix or take a nap. Or I may choose to be productive n some way. In either case, I am using my time as I choose. Finally, there is an assumption that the affluent have it "better" than the rest of us. My limited experiences interacting with rich people have made me believe the opposite is true. I find the rich to be shallow, self-centered and obsessed with displays of their wealth and power. I prefer my working class life.

The waiter made an assumption based on a snippet of conversation, unilaterally decided what was appropriate for the customer when it was none of thier business and then decieved them about the order. The waiter is the arsehole. I had a waitress serve me unsalted fries and then refuse to serve me salt when I was pregnant.... Because it was 'bad for the baby'. People who think they can make choices about other peoples bodies are all arseholes.

Wow. People are taking this question WAY too personally. Employers aren't asking the question because they are attempting to pry into your personal life, they are asking because they are afraid the reason is "I got fired because my boss caught me stealing so then I lived off of the embezzled funds for a year" or "actually, I quit the job because they expected me to show up on time and had a hard time finding a new company that wasn't totally lame. You're cool if sometimes I don't come in until noon, right?" Seriously, if you calmly and professionally give a concise answer, you'll be fine. "I had an illness that has since resolved" or "I had some family obligations at that time but then I was eager to return to the workforce" or even "I took that opportunity to broaden my skills in X, which is why I believe this job is a great match for my skills"

Omg, what is wrong with people? It's NOT ELECTION DAY YET. Only a tiny fraction of polling locations are open and those are only staffed by a fraction of the normal staff. Early voting ALWAYS takes longer than election day voting because our system isn't designed for it. Normally, that's not an issue because only a small fraction of voters do it.
