Students Print Blank Paper As A Workaround For A Ridiculous Uni Policy, The Internet Begins Sharing Their Own Workarounds

The big famous webshop delivers 500 pages of paper to your doorstep for about $10. I think it says a lot about a student if they go through lengths to get their remainder of $5 worth of paper. Just buy your own can of milk and bad coffee and with that you already save more by not going to the Starbuck on your campus. (both things are also polluting less).

But, somehow, people find themselves in the situation where they are complaining while paying the lowest amount (just the interest or not even that) and call it a 'repayment plan', while it isn't. You can do the math yourself: Take the first person. She has 365k in debt. She says she pays about 2500 month (on average 2100, as she says she paid 165k). Her debt is now 350k. So, about 150k she paid in 6.5 years which didn't go to the debt. Do some calculations and it turns out her interest rate on the loan comes to about 6.5%. As this is the USA; the loanshark she is at, probably claims the interest rate is 4%, but also charges her tons of (fake)fees, the kind of fees which should be included in the 4 - 6.5%. So there are 3 options. 1: at the moment she started this loan, the conditions didn't show an effective 6.5% interest rate and it was not made clear to her that, by the time she would finish, that somebody COULD charge her 6.5% interest rate which would mean that about 2000 per month would just go to interest rate to cover her loans 2: all info was clear, she just didn't understand what she was signing for. 3: she understood everything and is now complaining for no reason.

It takes 26 posts in this article before somebody seems to understand the concept of interest. It also seems that none of these people, at the time they joined college/uni, was bothered or able to calculate what it would actually cost. And that they would be entering an contract which is designed to keep them paying per month and NOT to have them just pay for their education. A contract with a party; where the party can 'sell' the contract, change the interest rate to their liking and keep you paying till you die. And many of these people complain about the fact that their 'payment plan' does not actually reduce the amount; but none of the people seem to complain about the fact that the interest rates on their debt are ridiculous and that they are not able to pay more to actually reduce the amount, instead of just paying the interest. I started out at 50k debt. I got a job, saved every penny and spend all the money on reducing the debt. I was debt free 2 years after graduation.

And it works: everybody who has been to this company (they have shops in quite some business cities now) can recognize the company from the way the pictures are made. It's typical that people start judging and talking about the Feminism part of the campaign. It is a campaign to sell Suits to women. It is for business-women who complain that it is so much harder to find affordable good looking business clothing.

Great pic, but no so special. I live in that country. Last year I was walking my dog in the forest during sundown and I basically walked into one + wife/son/daughter. We looked eachother into the eyes for a couple of seconds. I just thought: dear dog, please don't try to attack and chase it. Afterwards the stag had enough and walked away, continuing its business. Great animals though.
