There is no such thing as grass fed ghee. There are grass fed cows, but by removing the milk solids from the butter, you remove any part of the grass fed cow. Ghee is just clarified butter, and has more calories that even butter, the only advantage is that it melts at blood temperature, so does not clog in the arteries like oil or margarine. Also ghee has a very pungent smell, not every one can stomach it, we make ghee in our house every month since I was a kid and I still can't stomach it, a better alternative is Coconut Oil, it also melts at blood temperature and thus does not clog arteries.

I work in animal welfare and usually foster pups or rehab dogs who've been abused in the past. I got my Jerry as a weakling who was abandoned by his own litter and mother, a wee little thing who couldn't even stand to pee at 30 days. We took him in and now he's a strapping young lad of 9 months and loves to run and jump and play. When he came to us he was so scared that he would only stay under the bed, we worked on his therapy for 2 months, and gave him some much needed TLC. I became his adopted mother and he would only sleep if I was around, my 'mini me' I call him. We fell so in love with him that ended up adopting him ourselves.
