If there is a supreme being, I'm sure that's what he/she would want, right? On the other hand, I read about a priest in Latin America... there's (or was) this little dog who loved going to church every morning all by herself. One day, the "loving" priest said to the parishioners to kill or at least severely injure the animal so she would never enter HIS church again. Can you believe that? What really bothers me is that some actually obey just because "father told us so".

I believe there are a few organizations that help with the costs associated with rescuing pets from overseas. The military doesn't pay to ship pets though. As military families we (should) save up thousands of dollars to take our pets with us. Unfortunately, that's the same reason that some pets are abandoned on bases or given away right before a big move.

What kind of miserable f**king losers beat a toucan? It's not funny or cool to hurt animals and any teen (or adult, or child) who thinks so is not mentally stable. At my high school I've seen other teens hurting animals while the others cheer them on, I've helped a squirrel get back to her tree and I've contacted wild animal vets for an injured crow, sadly, my bunny friend who lives near campus might not make it after having a rock thrown at her.

Most proper meat breeders love their animals just as much as any loving pet owner. They are humanely euthanized and treated as individual, beloved pets. There are many groups on facebook, you should go join one and experience their world, most of them are amazing, beautiful people who treat their animals with respect. Not everyone is a fan of animals raised for meat animals it's perfectly alright to have animals non opinion animals nuns long ss your opinion doesn't hurt anyone.

Please remove this one. It is not heartwarming at all. These people actually raise rabbits for meat, and this little guy was part of a litter in which all of them, except this baby, froze to death. The hind leg paralysis was a result of almost freezing to death. The farm tried to profit from the rabbit's story and when the little bunny fell ill they did not listen to rabbit-savvy people that it should be taken to a vet and it eventually passed away. It's a horrid reminder of what some people can do. We all just hoped that seeing that this little bun had a personality would change their hearts.

Unfortunately, sometimes, when ordered to evacuate or while being evacuated by force, pet owners are not allowed to take their pets. The only pets allowed to go with their owners are service animals. Please don't blame all the owners. Many times it is not their fault. That is where fine people like this man and his son and other pet resuce organizations come in.

They should title this better to educate people about the plight of bears like this. This bear is from a bile farm. Bile is used in traditional medicines and the bears are more often than not kept in deplorable conditions.

Guys! Deer don't need to be knocked out while giving birth. They do it all the time by them selfs in the wild without meds or anything. Its not a human giving birth, its a deer. Their is a cat shelter in Boise that has something similar, where cats have their own rooms (about the size of a child's bedroom), with access to outside. They have alot if cat toys & furniture in their rooms too. They also "adopt" from kill shelters, so that the cats don't die.

Any animal can get well with lots of patience, love and kindness.
Every so often, stories of humans stepping up to rescue animals in need remind us of the good in the world. These tales include those who stop at nothing to bring comfort and healing to those who cannot help themselves. One such touching story involves a puppy trapped in an almost inescapable situation.
Witnessing the care and commitment of volunteers and animal lovers who band together to liberate a paralyzed pup from the grips of hot tar demonstrates incredible dedication to animal rescue.

Like I always say, more than "restoring faith in humanity", we should get the feeling of "what am I doing to prevent animal cruelty or contribute to animal well-being?" After all, all of us are humans and inhabitants of the same planet. Maybe some of us will never be able to save an abused tiger from a circus, but we can take good care of our dog at home, do something if we see our neighbors mistreat their pets, volunteer, donate some money, adopt an endangered animal (virtually, of course, helping an ONG), sponsor a wildlife ranger, or, the simplest and most important thing one can do: teach our kids and people around us some empathy towards all species. If we all contribute, then it won't be necessary that few people have to be engaged in monumental missions, rescuing their lives and (yes) mental health.

I really pray that laws will become stricter to punish people who abuse and neglect animals!! Why should these innocent animals go through the misery and pain inflicted upon them by humans! It's just not right! All animals just want the same things that we do, and it breaks my heart and keeps me up at night that these people go unpunished!!! It should be our job to help them...not hurt them!!! Please do what you can to change the laws!!! Thank you!
