Everyone says something stupid from time to time. Though, most of us probably get away with it pretty easily, since people just laugh it off and forget about our silly brain farts pretty fast. However, if you're one of the famous people then it's a completely different story. It appears that everything a popular celebrity says (or tweets) is carefully logged on the internet and available at all times. Especially if that person doesn't appear to be the smartest cookie in the jar or is lacking some basic education, then that kooky celebrity quote is going to be here forever.
We here at Bored Panda decided to dig into that cloud of shame and find out what are the most stupid quotes that were said by Hollywood stars and famous people from different paths of stardom. From funny to completely delusional, these interesting quotes will certainly make you feel better that you're not the one who said these things in public. Scroll below to read the dumb quotes list!

Carl Everett
"God created the sun, the stars, the heavens and the earth, and then made Adam and Eve. The Bible never says anything about dinosaurs. You can't say there were dinosaurs when you never saw them. Somebody actually saw Adam and Eve eating apples. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex."
Someone please put him back in school. Sports and religion both seem to be against critical thinking.
Shaquille O’Neal
Reporter: “Did you visit the Parthenon during your trip to Greece?”
Shaquille O’Neal: “I can’t really remember the names of the clubs we went to.”
Kanye West
"I actually don't like thinking. I think people think I like to think a lot. And I don't. I do not like to think at all."

I don't live in North America. I live in the United States of America
Jaden Smith
“If everybody in the world dropped out of school, we would have a much more intelligent society.”
It would make zero difference to intelligence, but now with an uneducated society.
Christina Aguilera
"So, where’s the Cannes Film Festival being held this year?"
I don't know why they choose France every year over other countries.
Jessica Simpson
“Is this chicken or is this fish? I know it’s tuna but it says ‘Chicken of the Sea’.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Asked whether he supported gay marriage, Arnold replied, "No, I think gay marriage is something that should be between a man and a woman."
Mike Tyson
"I guess I'm gonna fade into Bolivian"
It was just a small mistake. Everyone needs to just Chile out.
Dalai Lama
“I mean, if a female Dalai Lama come, then she must be very attractive. Otherwise not much use.”
Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion. Practicians come from various religions in addition to following the philosophy.
Load More Replies...Yep - he did try to correct it later but, oops, too late.
Load More Replies...After what they did in Rohingya why do people still think Buddhism is pinnacle of religions. Let the down votes commence.
Not going to down vote, but never judge a religion/philosophy by its followers. Ever.
Load More Replies...And he explained: Because if it were like that people would, finally, listen to the teachings of budddhism.Because there is more of a chance that people listen to a hot female than an old guy.
Downvotes? No you are right. Dumping on famous people from out of context statments is much more prefered
Load More Replies...Wow - didn't realise that the Dalai Lama was so sexist - I guess it originated in a patriarchal society but ???
Yes, many societies are patriarchal, but so are almost all religions. Buddhism has a class system like Hinduism, and women are considered much lower than men in these religions.
Load More Replies...I don't think he speaks English so this one is on the interpreter surely?
I don't think he speaks English so this one is on the interpreter surely
This may have been taken out of context, I have read much of his writing and this is the first I've seen of any attitude like that. I'd guess he was commenting on the way we overvalue people for looks, rather than expressing his own opinion.
The enlightened one spent so long in deep meditation he forgot it is the 21st century and that sexist comments like that have no place.
You would think someone supposedly enlightened would be capable of something profound. This is just vapid and superficial.
this is not true, no such statement ever made, this is just bullying, how many lives this person has changed? and no Buddhism is not a religion, it is a way to live a good, compassionate way to live, where every gender is treated equally. If you do not know the facts and still say like you know it, its just stupidity!
I think this was him making a joke and this could be taken out of context.. he has a good sense of humour..
Sorry to disappoint.... But that isn't what he said. He has been interviewed plenty of times stating that he wishes the next one would be a female BECAUSE they exude peace and have a very nurturing power. That he believes the world needs a female Dalia Lama.
That's still sexist (implies that women can't be aggressive or violent)
Load More Replies...It was just joke, ...but people are offended pussies nowadays so it was big deal :D
This was intended as a joke. You people have problems seeing things through different cultures viewpoint.
I've spoken to people who have interacted with him in real life off-screen. All I will say is that it seems he's one of those people who are very, very different when there isn't a camera around.
Pipe San Sol, you should also look into the history of the dalai lama. He had an evil past. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYEOSCIOnrs
Load More Replies...In all fairness, this wasn't misogynistic since the Lama here actually thinks he is a very attractive man. he just wants someone like him
I've been a follower of H. H. the Dalai Lama for over 30 years, a student of Buddhism here...and I've read every single page of every one of his books many times over, and if one thing about him--he has a SENSE OF HUMOR. He did not say this in a misogynistic way-- it was him trying to be FUNNY.
That's not what he said.... He actually wishes the next Dalia Lama would be a women because he admire their peaceful and nurturing nature, stating that the world needs that now more than ever. Had nothing to do with attraction, and if you'd ever heard the man speak you wouldn't have fallen for this lie.
Again, that's still sexist. Women can be tough and aggressive too.
Load More Replies...but you'd only consider it if you were a complete idiot....
Load More Replies...Carol, that’s because female monks in Buddhism are called nuns. I should know: I used to be one. Also, the dearth of monastics of any gender in Tibet has much more to do with the Chinese mass-murdering them when they overran the country in 1959 and tried to squash the Tibetan culture. And being a monastic for men or women is utterly optional! How on earth do you think Buddhism has lasted for 3500 years if it “requires celibacy”? If it required celibacy, it would have been extinct by about 400 BC.

"I love them. Love them. I think the more positive approach you have to smoking, the less harmful it is."

*That's* the one you chose? An internet search reveals that pretty much everything she says is dumb.
Craig T. Nelson
"I've been on foodstamps and welfare. Anybody help me out? No."
And... What exactly are foodstamps and welfare if they aren't "help"?? Well, I suppose some people consider them a lifestyle....
Bill O'reilly
"I’ll tell you why [religion’s] not a scam. In my opinion, all right? Tide goes in, tide goes out. Never a miscommunication. You can’t explain that. You can explain why the tide goes in…"
Amanda Bynes
To Rihanna "Chris Brown Beat You Because You're Not Pretty Enough"
no Amanda he beat her because he took her for granted and wasn't taught you can't hurt anybody else's body
Geraldo Rivera
“I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters, particularly, to not let their young children go out wearing hoodies. I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was.”

In his defense, "Christening" is in reference to "Christ" and Christianity and thus, could apply to multiple religious rituals/rites.

Let us not forget Sir Cheeto, king of lies: "I have a great relationship with the blacks." "The beauty of me is that I'm very rich." "Grab them by the pussy." "I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." I can keep going.
Dumb, yes, but human nonetheless…show me a Panda who never said anything dumb!
"Celebrities".... I had to google half of them cause I've never seen or heard about them
Nothing about Katy Perry and buffalo wings??? It was so popular Pizza Hut even hired her to be in a commercial.
I love this, and i love when people from hollywood teach us about morals, politics, world views ect
How about the vast majority of what Charlie Sheen has said. Or some of George W. Bushism's.
Why seem so many Americans do not know about geography or other countries history?
I was on holiday recently in Botswana where the guide told us that an overseas visitor had been watching the hippos, and when one climbed out of the river she commented 'Oh- I didn't know they had legs'. Of course, everyone knows that they are 1 ton inflatable grey balloons.
Kelly Pickler has said much worse. She is playing the "dumb blonde" card on purpose
Yeah, I think many influencers and celebrities are doing that. Easy way to get attention (= more money). Kinda smart actually
Load More Replies...So basically this was a rant about people saying things in a moment where they misspoke or misunderstood something, or were misunderstood, or just plain got something wrong, and everyone gets to gang up on them for making mistakes? This society is so sad that we must take the time to point out the faults of others and make fun of them. So very sad. I do hope our society can grow up one day.
Elizabeth Hurley's remark was nasty and vicious.
Load More Replies...Trump was like,"We will build a wall. A great big beautiful wall. And a wall in colorado." Fans:*** Hit blunt Trump: Mexicans will not come thru the border of colorado!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
