The irony is that the BIGGEST snowflakes in the universe are MAGAts. ❄️
We’ve all seen how memes have evolved from simple jokes to a powerful tool for communication. The meme marketing industry is growing rapidly, and it’s clear that memes are no longer just about laughs; they’re about influence. They spread like wildfire, carrying messages that resonate with millions, making them an essential part of modern-day storytelling and cultural commentary.
People are now using memes to promote everything from products to movies and TV shows. They’re a clever way to connect with audiences, breaking down complex ideas into bite-sized, relatable jokes.
It's not just the point of having a job, it's the point of having a minimum wage.
Yup your religion should stay inside your house and personal life, your religious practices are never allowed to affect your job or how you treat others, if it does then you need to rethink your lifestyle.
These days, memes are also educational. Take history memes, for example—they manage to make even the dullest historical facts fun and memorable. Who would have thought you could learn about ancient battles or famous figures while scrolling through social media? Such memes often give insights in a way that’s both fun and easy to digest.
I want to upvote this to the top! Quality is so bad it's disgusting.
Date is last weekend. Formatted European style which is kind of weird. It doesn't matter because I agree completely and will be protesting for the next two weekends and I'm thinking of taking a workshop on what to say/do when ICE turns up on Friday.
Another interesting way memes are being used is to inject sarcasm and humor into serious issues. From politics to taxes to the frustrating state of public transportation, memes call out societal problems in a way that makes people think. They create a space where humor meets activism, making it easier to discuss topics that might otherwise feel heavy or intimidating.
To understand just how impactful political memes can be, we spoke to a party worker from India who preferred to stay anonymous. They shared some fascinating insights into how these memes are changing the game.
“Political memes about serious issues are incredibly impactful,” they explained. “They reach people faster than traditional media and often reflect what people are really thinking about.” These memes act as a mirror, reflecting the collective frustration, hope, or even apathy of the masses, all through humor or sarcasm.
Did you know that Chimpanzees are our closest relative on the Tree of Evolution?
“We even have a team dedicated to monitoring such memes, especially the ones that go viral,” they added. “These memes often give us raw, unfiltered feedback about the public mood.” By analyzing trends and viral content, organizations can adapt their strategies, responding more effectively to public concerns.
Well, now, you have to look at their reasoning. He got a 400 million $ plane for an early birthday present, now we have to have a parade. Remember, the parade is to celebrate the Army's 250th birthday, and NOT his birthday. (He, he, he, they'll believe that, won't they?)
And if they're criminals why are they a arresting and deporting so many who show up to the Court House for the hearing on their immigration status?
However, they also mentioned a flip side: “Sometimes, memes can have a negative impact. They can escalate situations or blow issues out of proportion, making it harder to address them constructively.” This shows that while memes are powerful, they’re also unpredictable and can sometimes lead to unintended consequences.
So incels and other garbage men will finally have their perfect, subservient dream waifus and women will no longer be harrassed by them and have some space to date actual decent men who won't settle for a facsimile... I see that as an absolute win?
Despite the occasional downside, it’s clear that memes are here to stay as a cultural force. They’re a way for people to share their frustrations, their hopes, and even their solutions, one witty image at a time. They break through language barriers, generational gaps, and even cultural divides with surprising ease. You’ll find teenagers, activists, and comedians embracing memes to say what words often can’t.
They allow people to cope with stress, connect over shared struggles, and laugh at everyday absurdities. Even the most complex issues are now being turned into punchy, digestible content. So maybe memes aren’t just for laughs—they're the new-age commentary tool we never saw coming.
General Strike is the only solution. It will happen. The only question now is when. Shawn Fein of the UAW says 2028. I think it's coming sooner.
Not only am I getting over it, I'm glad you're here, and I'll stand at your side. Possibly keeping terfs away, while you use the loo in peace. :) /hugs/

One of my neighbours and best friends is now trans and just as awesome. Honestly, nothing's changed besides her appearance and what does that matter?
Load More Replies...And there so many who identified as another gender when surgeries and hormone therapies weren’t available. LGBTQ+ people have existed since man crawled out of the metaphorical ooze. Reminder that you’re all worthy and all loved no matter who you love or identify as! Except p*dos, cuz f**k them.
@PJN, This confirms what I've suspected about you. You're an authoritarian. You cannot comprehend a world where a child is loved and supported for who they are and how they feel. You think youth transitioning is child abuse because you assume the parents are forcing them to, because you don't know any other way to interact with children other than by force.
You are too kind, PJN is just a wind up merchant. Ignore it

Around the turn of the 20th century, it looks like there was a huge uptick in the number of left-handed people. This isn't because there were suddenly more left-handed people. It's because we started letting people be instead of beating it out of them.
My uncle was still forced to be right handed in the 50s. He switched back as an adult because even with everything he was more accurate with a pen on his left. Grandma did apologize for it, but it's not really her fault.

Candy Darling, a trans actress who worked with Andy Warhol and was the inspiration for a fantastic Velvet Underground song, Candy Says. Was around in 1969.
She, and some of her co-stars, are discussed - and rather explicitly - in Lou Reed's "Take A Walk on the Wild Side".

What a stupid comment. I remember a programme on the BBC when I was growing up about someone that went ahead with what then was called a 's*x change'. I'm sure it wasn't perfect and the whole thing was a lot more baffling to a lot more people than would be the case now, but the programme portrayed the trans woman as a real person with genuine feelings. I remember the surgeon saying that people might object to NHS money being spent in this way but in his opinion it was amazing value for money. That one operation was probably less than a whole period of treating cancer (which is usually older people), yet the cancer treatment might only buy three more months of life. Meanwhile the 's*x changes' he performed brought people decades of happy life. This would have been in the '80s, when a surgeon was already competent and experienced in this. People do talk absolute twaddle.
Their ignorance in which they state their dumb beliefs is laughable
Sir David Attenborough, one of the best people ever, was fighting to get them visibility on the BBC in 1973 that led too the BBC2 show "Open Door". His memo pushing for it is great.
Look up Billie Tipton 1914-1989. Lived as a man most of their life. Had female partners and adopted 3 children. It was discovered they were assigned female at birth after their death. Many others throughout history.
See also the late Angela Morley who wrote the score for "Watership Down" in 1978.
Brillant composers, all artists are not created by their s*x, but by their talents
When I was in third grade or so, I remember reading about Christine Jorgonson. She was born a man, served in the military and became a woman well before Wendy Carlos.
The first s*x reassignment surgery was in 1931. We might also think about Deborah Sampson, Mary Reed and Anne Bonny, the Pharaoh Hatshepsut, and who knows how many others.
They have always existed ! And one was even a top model from the 1970, n for a man she was the most stunning woman going .so suck it up ! And quit making this s**t up !
Which of these posts resonate with you the most? Do you think memes are just jokes, or do they carry a deeper message? Let us know your thoughts!
Fun fact, Elliot Rodger the "supreme gentleman", it later emerged, was NOT heartlessly rejected by a bunch of mean evil girls. Because he never even tried to ask one out in the first place. Girls who knew him were puzzled and shocked when it all came out. One even said "if he'd asked me out I would have said yes but I had no idea". Instead he was a whiny narcissist who assumed girls and s*x should just magically be happening for him without his having to so much as lift a finger.
And yet we are about to have a group of BP people descend on this very item and argue about it.
OUCH! That one hurt. Also how is not supporting mothers with newborns "Pro-Life"? It's like they care more about the born than the unborn.
Gender affirming surgeries have one of the lowest regret rates of any elective surgery at well under 1%. Knee replacements are the highest at something like 30% (-ish, from memory).
Oh yeah, I feel this one. Historical events SUCK! Would not do again! Oh Wait...
"Surplus Value of Worker's Labor" It refers to your commute to work. That sandwich you made at home for lunch at work. That hour of research you did at home clocked off looking for a supplier for that thing that's been the problem for weeks. Yeah I do a lot of Surplus work.
The fear of bankruptcy from a medical emergency was one of the two reasons that prompted my husband and I to move from the US. The other was the rise of MAGAts.
I don't think it smells THAT nice, and I am all the way over in France and can still smell it.
Averages are useless. the Median, which is exactly in the middle, and is $35, 805. Half of USians make less than $35,805. Some are unable to work full time because of disabilities of caregiving responsibilities, some are working 3 jobs to make less than $35,805. I've never made that much.
Trying to figure out what video game the top pic is from. Any help?
Yeah but the Population of Coruscant is is about 2 Trillion are they really going to give a d**n about a million jobs? That's like a city of a million opening a Target.
Gotta save money, get the graft and useless programs out. We now have all AIDS research cancelled.
At least the entire population isn't wearing Crocs? Yet. (If you haven't seen the movie, one of the jokes is that everyone wears crocs. At the time those were pretty new and the filmmakers were like "yeah, only morons would wear those things; let's put them in").
My favourite lyric from my Marilyn Manson days: "I wasn't born with enough middle fingers."
Always a good time to remember that virtually everybody in America is much much closer to being homeless than they are to being a millionaire.
I'm white. I was adopted at birth into a Hispanic family. I was raised basically as a Mexican-American. I live in Southern California, and I have family members in LA/South Central. One of my older cousins, Chico, WAS in a gang when he was younger, but got out of the gang life after he did some prison time and he became a pastor. His son later got some tattoos, but was not a gang member. After my cousin Chico died, his son was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the police thought he was involved in the crime. He was shot by the police, and they let him lie there bleeding out in the street and refused to allow medical help for him because he was a "suspected gang member". Luckily he survived. Not every brown person is a criminal or gang member, but so many of them are treated as if they are.
I'm on some apps for pregnant women and every week there's a at least one woman having a missed miscarriage and she can't do anything because of the state she's living in. 😡
I could give jeans to my dog to drag around the yard and then sell them 50% off, 🤣 (edited to add emoji)
Which kind of union are we talking about, European style or US ones? Quite a huge difference in those actually
Shades of "Don't Look Up", in which humanity basically memes its way to a completely avoidable apocalypse.
More like Your Body decided to say dumb sh*t, My choice to Bone Club It (The Pokemon move, okay, don't get ideas XP)
United Heathcare won't change its policies. It will replace the dead executive with another heartless greedy monster without a trace of humanity. And if he's killed, then another, and another and another. Don't believe that a healthcare company would permit death after death after death to preserve its profits? That's their goddamned business model!
The New York Post Used to be slightly better than the National Enquirer. It is quickly approaching the Weekly World News in terms of credibility.
I think I'm missing the meme, but I heard "I want to walk like you, talk like you" from jungle book when looking at it.
Just thought I'd point out : the "invasive test" people are whining about? That's a CHEEK SWAB, so can we stop the hystrionics please? Genital inspection was never part of this, and would absolutely be illegal. Look it up or ask one of the dozens of law debunking channels on youtube.
I'm not an American so I've got no skin in the game but how about a more balanced view instead of only one side of the political argument
It seems pretty obvious to most B.P.s really can't stand Christians, whites, or heterosexuals.
This series was a good reminder of the saying "the left can't meme". Great demonstration.
My sense of humour is such that most of the above memes did strike me as funny. Then again, I grew up expecting to die in a nuclear war probably before adulthood, so... 😉
