Wildly off-topic, but I'm an excellent reader, and the word "queue" always throws me for a loop. It looks like it should have some complicated pronunciation, but it's literally just the letter "q" while the rest of the word is silent.

I see kids scamming free rides all the time around here, with lame excuses about not having a bus pass. 99 times out of 100 the bus driver just shrugs and lets them ride for free, or gives them a scolding before letting them ride for free. This *might* be because of a law that got implemented after a kid was left stranded at a bus stop because the bus didn't stop for him and was subsequently abducted and... well you can guess the rest. They passed a law after that stating that bus drivers must always let kids ride and ALWAYS stop for a kid, or something along those lines. So therefore in theory a kid can get free rides by virtue of that law making it impossible for the driver to turn them away. Might have been only in the dead kid's state, or it could be Australia wide. Either way, RIP, Daniel Morecombe. That should never have happened to you. :(
