Ahhh, women, the silent and meek housekeepers, the unacknowledged grey cardinals with a well-deserved place in the kitchen. Thankfully, the times when the sentence above would’ve made sense are long gone (but not forgotten), and all thanks to the fair sex themselves. It’s women that have raised generation upon generation of people destined to make our world a better place. With love, care, and compassion. It’s women that have changed society’s view on many pressing issues. All with love, care, and compassion. It’s the ladies that have made some of the most important breakthroughs in science, and it’s the fairer sex that turns out to be the most worthy leaders of countries. Because they do it all with love, care, and compassion. And that is probably why women are so strong, so powerful, and intelligent (despite being told for ages that all they are good for is knitting, making sandwiches, and being pleasant for the eye).

This article is truly a celebration of women - their words gathered in one place make it a dynamite read, sure to inspire you. Some of these powerful women’s quotes might even change your perspective on life 180 degrees, and it will be enlightening! And these are also not just some ladies (although every woman has the qualities to be mighty); these smart words came from scientists, politicians, writers, and actresses who have paved their paths all by themselves, proving that they (and we!) can do it all.

Now, hopefully, our intro made you quite excited about what’s to come, and we promise these quotes by women won’t disappoint you but rather give you some quite nutritious food for thought. So pick the ones that lit a fire in you, vote for them, and don’t forget to tell the world about these intelligent, brave, and affectionate ladies!

She's shared horrible stories of how the world treated a young girl transforming into womanhood and then trying to find an identity. Many of them are quite disturbing. She got her first stalker when she was 12 years old. She nearly dropped out of the Potter movies but says she stayed because of all the young girls who looked up to Hermoine as a character and her as a person. A 16 year old girl decided to become a role model and advocate so it wouldn't happen to others. That takes a lot of courage.

I’m stunned at how many women apologize for anything and everything. It drives me nuts. I want to respond to that woman standing in an aisle at the store basically apologizing to everyone walking by. Please, don’t be sorry, you have nothing to be sorry for here, you are okay, it’s okay, you have a right to be here, doing this, you have no need to apologize, please, it becomes meaningless to say you are sorry to everyone for everything. Somewhere you have picked up a burden, just like a giant wooden cross, you are bearing it because of that one person who last said something demeaning about you or told you that you were somehow only worthy when you are bearing this burden. It’s not a beautiful attribute, it’s shockingly maddening and you deserve better, you deserve to be free of that burden of thinking you are a burden to someone just by taking up space, just by being.

Perfectionism bleeds all the joy out of life. If a person is unable to love or enjoy anything imperfect, and they're stuck in an imperfect world, the perfectionism dooms them to a frustrating and joyless existence. At least I'm spared that, in the medical field there's no perfection, and I tell people "I can't get good, I'll take better".

You know the story of paper? The one where you take a piece of blank paper (any color will do) and appreciate its potential to be something magnificent. So you crumple it and with every crumple, every squeeze, every tear, you call it names and berate it. Then you uncrumple it and try to smooth it out again telling the paper how awesome it is and how you want to appreciate its magnificence but realize the damage you have inflicted can’t truly be undone. Be mindful, everyone was once that unmarred beautiful piece of uncrumpled paper and those who you may meet later in life might have been crumpled by many hands and thrown away like trash. It’s difficult to be the first rate you when so many have crumpled you, Judy Garland got crumpled, it cost her her self esteem and ultimately her life. He did not emerge from Hollywood unscathed

"but how can you be a feminist if you don't want all men to die?" "How can you be a feminist if you're married to a man?" "How can you be a feminist if you don't hate house wife's or STAHMs?" .....Bitch, I'm a feminist because I support a woman's right to be who she wants to be , to love who she wants to love, to hate men if she wants to hate men, to date men if she wants to date men.... to stay at home with the kids if that's what she wants to do... I am a feminist because I believe that women are human beings who deserve the same rights as men. It's that simple. Idc if she's a woman who hates feminism.. I support her right to hate us because that's who she wants to be and it's her fucken right! When will ppl actually start to understand this!?

I don’t agree.if you can not take care of yourself, it just means you are overwhelmed by the crushing realities of life and need help. That’s nothing to be ashamed of. To say otherwise it to dismiss the reality that life can be brutal, that some people are born into a family that does not support them or that they have a struggle so hard that the tools they have at hand are just not enough to get the job done. I dislike this statement because it shames people who are struggling and keeps them from feeling okay enough to ask for help. TSK

So many opposing factors and realities can squash that little why. Strength and resilience are laws. They are the law of nature. When the law of nature is interpreted as only the strong survive, the interpreter is missing key components if they focus on strength being synonymous with aggression. Strength in nature is adaptability. Those laws of nature apply to every living organism, even humans. You are gifted with three options to every stressor in life. Adapt, migrate or die. Humans have proven time and again to find strength through adaptability. So the next time someone tries to tell you that you are not strong enough, apply the adaptability law, change your situation by migrating elsewhere. You are the master of your life, therein lies your power, the people on your ship are your crew, they help you get where you need to go with their support, and visa versa. Too bad so many equate themselves with the captain of the ship and don’t see that the captain is a crew member too.

The hope is that you have been given the proper tools needed to assess and respond to life as needed. Unfortunately through no fault of their own too many people don’t have those tools, nor do they have access to the tools needed. This is why it’s so important to be open to new things, new ideas, differences, because they may fill your toolbox in turn helping you navigate life easier or more effectively.

Sorry no. Melinda is an asshole and the most anti feminist woman if there ever was one. She treats WOC like fucken Guinea pigs and her organization has done UNSPEAKABLE things to women everywhere. Get her off this list.

Or at least stop going down the same road you have been, you know, that one riddled with land mines and sink holes. Knowing you have a choice is a start, picking an unknown Heaven over a known hell can be a bit like an off road ride, full of bumps and ruts, but boy can it take you to some amazing places

Never taking no for an answer is missing out, NO can be as rewarding as yes. It’s all a matter of perception and goals. No can cause a path to turn to a more effective better way.

I don’t get the whole suppressive stance America has embraced in the last 40 years. When you empower people to be the best self they can be, you have a more powerful nation as a whole. It’s common sense. To help booster education, physical and mental health and quality of life in every single person living on the same piece of land, everyone wins. It’s that fragile ego and misunderstanding of power that messes things up.

Yeah but remember that time she fat shamed Whoopi on like... live tv? And thought she was hilarious? I mean, she came for Whoopi... FUCKEN WHOOPI! You don't come for Whoopi without getting your ass whooped... she's another one who doesn't belong on this list. Women who don't support other women are not women at all.
