First of all, there's lots of sketching. "From research, to concept, to refinement, to manufacturing, designing a product is an iterative process that can take years," Gwilt told Bored Panda in an earlier interview.
"It's important to understand what the markets and mindsets of customers will be like in the next few years (when the product launches)."

According to him, good design is innovative, makes a product useful, is aesthetic, makes a product understandable, is unobtrusive, is honest, is long-lasting, is thorough down to the last detail, is environmentally friendly, and involves as little design as possible.

For my MRI they had one of these with trees and seagulls overhead. Not sure many seagulls end up in trees but it was nice to see.

Best morale booster a former boss did was buy 8 65in/165cm LED TVs and hook them up to a series of webcams outside. We all worked in IT in a room that had a built in Faraday cage in the walls so we couldn't have real windows. The mesh was fine enough that cell phones couldn't get reception so you couldn't even use them to pull up the weather. He put 2 in the ceiling of the break room looking up and the rest were spaces around the raised floor so you could see at least 1 no matter where you were.
My dentist has one of those. However, I don't spend a lot of time looking at it. I usually have my eyes closed. First of all, I don't appreciate seeing all those torture instruments up close. Also, I am usually blinded by the lamp.

My dentist used to have a similar picture on her ceiling with a hot air balloon drifting by. Calming and much nicer to look at than the dull beige walls.
Having just spent 11 days lying on a hospital bed I can give a million reasons why. Even though I was one of the lucky ones with a window, that window opened onto a square courtyard surrounded by monotonous gray buildings and car parks.

Since so many of you have the same question I guess I'll answer it. (I really wish I didn't know about this, yuck!) Some people make giant turds that are too big to flush. If you try, they will just clog the toilet. So these people need to chop the turds in to smaller pieces in order for them to flush. There was a funny story about it on Reddit where one family had a dedicated knife just for chopping poo. (What the hell were those people eating??!!) And now Amazon sells official "poop knives" for anyone with that specific issue. :) This is definitely something I never imagined having to explain.....

Why is warm beer a problem? If anything messes up how beer tastes, it is having it served ice cold. American beer has to be specially engineered to have any taste when cold.
Some people say Germans drink their beer warm, but they don‘t. It‘s cold. Out of the fridge cold. That‘s cold enough. For other beverages too
