27 Hilarious Fake Christmas Gifts That ‘Obvious Plant’ Planted In Stores
Jeff Wysaski, the comedic genius behind the 'Obvious Plant' project, has become a firm favorite here at Bored Panda. His unique brand of 'street humor,' a satirical and often absurd take on the world around us, has taken us to the zoo, the bookstore, IKEA, and the toy store, where fake signs and gag gifts await the unsuspecting public.
With the Christmas shopping season in full swing, now is the perfect time for Obvious Plant to get pranking. What would you do if you found a 'Stabby Patch Kid' down at your local store? Would you buy it for someone's Christmas gift? Can you buy it? As it doesn't actually belong to the store, would taking the funny gift be stealing? Nobody knows, but boy, these hilarious products must certainly become unique collector's items at some stage in the future.
Scroll down below to see the weird gifts that await in stores around Jeff's native Los Angeles, and don't forget to vote for your faves!

'fimally' triggers my inner grammar nazi, and i'm not even native english speaker
This is hardly different that what I'd see at the local 99 cent store near me, to be honest. Those shops carry two kinds of toys: dangerous knockoffs of high-street toys, or weird toys similar to this one. Any planning meetings there might be for the weird toys must be something Pythonesque.
oh please, i dont need this to play that. just some good old fashion hands will do the trick.
A Chili's in a neighboring town burned down a few years ago. Yet. I still find this "toy" humorous. I'm sorry...
wow does he like have a personal thing against animals that are black and white
just imagine "I'm gonna beat you up" "Hi, gonna beat you up, I'm DAD"
I love Obvious Plant. I've been following his content for years now weekly and so already seen everything here the when it originally came out. There are surprisingly many commenters on social media sites who take his content seriously :D I love his work. Except for his podcast; I tried listening to it but it's just not my cup of tee.
Many of the toys are in production, and sold on the Obvious Plant website. The coloring books are hilarious, too.
Such dedication! XD
I'm not sure why Naked Bruce is so funny to me but after I read "None clothes please", I was through.
...comic genius?
Where do I apply for a job?
Love how nobody has commented they're just like "wtf did I just witness"
Hmmm. My phone did a spazz
I think you people are SICK!
Genius from the word go
Pretty nice, must be expensive collectables. pawn shop owner can think twice buy it or not. Except doll what represent real child, i didnät like idea, bad.
I legit need all of these products right now.
Thanks for the laughs. I have some major Monday-itis going on right now.
Nobody likes Mondy-itis. The cure for it is humour.
Somebody has a lot of time on his hands, but I'm glad that he does.

Not really amusing enough to merit a post. Some of the genuine rubbish toys are way funnier, particularly some made in the Far East for the Western market
Madam, don't try to ruin things for others.
indeed good madam, let people take a laugh
