No matter how successful, cool or elegant we are, we all have our days or brief moments when our common sense and dignity bid their farewell to us. Blame it on your brain having a fart, on Mercury in retrograde, on waking up on the wrong foot, it doesn’t change anything.
Sometimes we are all clueless, hilariously naive, and shamelessly embarrassing. So if you just did or said something stupid, we want to give you a big pat on the shoulder and tell you that you are not alone.
Below we wrapped up the list of images featuring people lost in the cloud of their brain farts, so scroll down. Also, be sure to check out more clueless people caught in action in Bored Panda’s previous features here and here.

That's 668 People Who Lack Critical Thinking
Scientific Name = Poison
While we can’t tell the reason that made these people act they way they did as seen in the images shared in this post, we can all agree on the obvious: it’s that humans are sometimes bold and unreasonable.
Luckily, the internet is a perfect place to celebrate these funny occasions. Just like the miscellaneous corner of Reddit known as the “What Could Go Wrong” community, which has been demonstrating examples of “what not to do” since 2013.

Now Your Own Decisions Belong To A Man You Haven't Met
I'll be happy to pretend to be a fiancé/husband working abroad and do a video call giving my consent to anyone having this problem.
Previously, we spoke with the creator of what is now a Reddit powerhouse that boasts 7.2 million members. The creator who goes by the nickname Peanutbuttered told us a while back that in a perfect world, r/whatcouldgowrong wouldn’t exist because people would know what is smart to attempt and what isn’t. “But since that’s not the case, at least, we hope the subreddit can help to prevent an injury or save a life."
“My hope is that people who are thinking of attempting a stupid stunt will rethink their decision or maybe recall a post they saw on /r/whatcouldgowrong. Then they’ll think, 'maybe I should not do this,'” the redditor said.

I Mean, How Stupid Can People Be?
But bold actions we all sometimes do without thinking twice about them may have to do with our lack of sense of actions and consequences. This may be deliberate or not, since some people struggle to control their impulsivity.
Another reason may be the fact that we live in the age of instant gratification. From social media to online shopping, the ability to get what we want with the click of a button has eliminated the need for long-term planning and consideration of the potential consequences of our actions.
Our culture has become one of immediacy, where people are more concerned with the short-term gratification of their desires than with the long-term consequences.

This lack of foresight has led to a number of problems, both for individuals and society as a whole. For individuals, it has resulted in a lack of financial planning, leading to debt and overspending. It has also led to a lack of responsibility when it comes to personal health and safety, resulting in an increase in reckless behavior and risky activities.
There's A Thin Line Between Confidence And Stupidity And This Guy's Way Over That Line
I was working on a commercial (makeup artist) and we were filming outside all day. I was walking around putting sunscreen on all of the actors and one flat out refused it and said that he never uses it and never burns. Guy ended up frying and blistering and getting heatstroke. Hopefully he learned from that.

Oh, boy... If only we could have been able to read every signals in our past life...
It just means he's a bit naive and is a bit more respectful of the ladies, and doesn't assume they all want to hop in bed with him. We need more folks like this.
Men can basically be divided into those sleazebags who think no means yes (or don't care), people who think yes means no (and cannot comprehend a yes) and the few in the middle. I'm in the second group.
This is an interesting game. People can be divided into three groups. Those who fall into condition A, those who fall into condition B, and those who do not fall into either group. I can basically make up anything for A and B and still be correct. I do get what you're saying though. I too am pretty clueless when it comes to women.
Load More Replies...Before I got married I had so many of these happen to me and was just like, well she’s sure nice! Welp, see ya later. Didn’t dawn on me til like 10 years later.. hey! Wait a minute!
I flashed my bra at my male friend in High School. And changed my top in front of him once. Spent the whole leaving party with him outside laid under stars. Sat on him. Nothing. We lost touch. Roll on 21 years, a divorce each, and a private message. A meet up for coffee, where he is like, “I always liked you then…” and I was like, “Me too.” And at 37 he still didn’t get that those were signals…! One explanation and 2 years later, he is beside me, coughing and snoring (chest infection) and I’m telling the internet the story while chuckling to myself.
Story of my life. My wife of 24 years practically had to yank me by my shirt, pull me in before I got the hint to kiss her. After dating awhile, she lived in a small town which had a drive in and she stated we should go see a movie there. I asked what was playing, she looked dead at me and said "you don't got to a drive in to watch a movie". Looking back, uh, yeah, I missed a lot of overt hints in my dating life. So yes, females, sometimes you do have to make the first move as we can be completely clueless.
I waited a day long for a hint from girl laying next to me on the couch at my home, wearing nothing than a blanket... 🤷🤦🤦🤦
I look back, forty years down the time tunnel, and i see myself, being just as obtuse...
When I first got together with my bf... he had so bad selfesteem that he did not see at least 2 instances of beautiful females who walked into street lamps and trash cans because they were focused on him instead of where they walked. I felt like it was a miracle that someone like me found a handsome dude like him... and he didn't even know how handsome he was. Lol. But I also want to mention that it goes the other way, too. When I was in my 20s I would frequently walk home from a night out in the city and either on the walk home or just as I was going to sleep I was like "oh wait... THAT CUTE GUY TOTALLY WANTED ME!?!? WHY AM I ONLY SEEING IT NOW!??!?!?! Fååååårk!!!!" Oh well... I ended up with my bf and that's the best. :)
How sweet and innocent - an absolute rarity. You rarely see this in men today; his life doesn't revolve around his genitals.
Of course there’s just missing the point. And there’s also thinking there’s more to a relationship than just sex. Especially when studying or doing other activities together.
Awwww. This is sweet though. I mean, I feel sorry that he didn't pick up on anything. But he's a sweet boy who doesn't immediately think every nice girl wants to f**k him.
Like my daughter. Once she had a chat with a boy who asked about her hobbies etc. And she showed him all her fossils and minerals collection. The boy patiently listened to her and even asked few questions. After a while it turned out that boy wanted to flirt with her. Instead he got an hour long lecture. My daughter still laughs about how oblivious she is when it comes to flirting.
But society tells us girlies to be coy 😭 we’re told it’s too masculine or abrasive to ask the guy first
So odd that other boys can't take the hint when their attention isn't wanted... there seems to be no ability to read pe or situations. 🙄
How are this many obtuse people in the world? Were you all homeschooled? Not knocking the education aspect, just the social awkwardness.
Still better than a girl saying hi and they think that means I wanna have sex with you.
I have been this oblivious before. I was near blackout drunk. Not sure what this dude's excuse is.
Who says she's easy? She could just be a girl who was in love with him. The fact that she was hitting on him, says literally nothing about how many other people she's been with, she could just as well be a virgin.

On a larger scale, this lack of consideration for the consequences of our actions has led to environmental degradation and climate change. We have failed to take the long-term view and instead have focused on short-term gains, leading to a situation where we are now facing the consequences of our actions.

I do want to specify that the employee knew English. He was trying his best to get his message across. It’s just that he spoke in broken English, which the woman couldn’t understand. But everyone else in the vicinity, including myself, could.
Conversely, i know of a lady who, on whirlwind tour of Europe and stressed by language difficulties, one day finding herself in a large seemingly-public building called out 'DOES ANYONE HERE SPEAK ENGLISH?'. After a stunned silence, a well-modulated voice replied 'madam, this IS the Bank of England'.
