I don't get why people insist that everyone has to be wide eyed happy in the morning - Like i need a moment to adjust back to reality, try to remember the badass dream I had and contemplate the meaning of my life before i have any kind of conversation with anyone. Any encounter with me before that and you get what you get.
This is why I get up before everyone else. I get to be not grumpy by the time my kids are awake.
